My named is Cendre. It means Cinder in French. I think my mom was French, although I can't be sure. My mom just wasn’t ready to have a child, so she gave me and my little sister up for adoption when she was a baby. But the parents I have instead are so perfect that I can’t wonder if the fact that I have a real mom out there is just a dream.
I’m a bit of a space cadet; one of those kids that’s always smiling but isn’t very often there. This means that a lot of people don’t understand me. My parents shower me and stuff me with love, but I’m not sure they even really understand me. Serenity, my best friend, is the only one who I can always communicate with. And we don’t even talk; we just know. I think it’s great.
I also have a really wonderful friendship with a boy I met through Serenity. His name is Orlando, although he has a whole host of nicknames he goes by.
Our friendship is a little strange. Sometimes it seems forced, and since he has a thing for girl’s clothing we’re often mistaken for a couple when we’re together. I think it’s ironic since he acts more like a guy when I tend to be like a quiet girl. It’s funny to see Ori get mad at people for saying things like that. ^-^
On most days, rain or shine, I’m wearing a pair of shorts and a sweatshirt. If I can get away with shorter shorts I wear them. I dunno, it’s just another one of my weird habits I suppose.
As for my interests, I’m sure that anyone can find them around my profile somewhere. I’ve been messing with profile theme coding ever since I got onto Gaia; it’s quite fascinating.
Oh! Speaking of which I’ve been on Gaia for a very long time, but I quit it shortly after getting used to things. I didn’t quit on purpose, I simply forgot my account information. So one day I was feeling adventurous and the first random password I tried worked. So I quickly got everyone else to join.
By everyone else I mean the three friends in our little posse. We do most things together and we love going out. Besides the two I’ve already named there’s Serenity’s and Orlando’s friend Caralynn. I don’t speak with her much…I’m afraid that she’s one of the people who find me strange.
Well, I warn you ahead of time that I am rather unfocused and tend to wander around in my speeches. Either way it would be fun to meet new people and make friends.
