Okay, now for a real introduction.
Hello, my name is Serenity Henderson. I have no qualms about giving out my full name online; I protect myself very well. And I’ve been around the block when it comes to chatting websites. Especially avatar-based ones.
Currently I am a student at a New York university. Due to my college being very kind, I am also allowed to participate in the Creative Writing program at a very beautiful, wonderful art school, which I love. At my “main” university, I am majoring in Comparative Literature and minoring in Physics. Don’t ask me why, I just like both!
So what is me?
Well, I’m pretty dependable and simple. I can’t think of times when I’m ever mad since I know how to get in everybody’s shoes.
I won’t reject you. Ever. wink
I can also be a bit silly at times too. My favorite things to eat are chicken nuggets with applesauce. I like to crack jokes (which usually aren’t funny, but, oh well).
My best friend is named Orlando. He’s a transvestite but a sweetheart all the same. We hang out almost everyday....Or at least we used to before I moved away! I miss you Orlando, hun.
We grew up together in Virginia but I moved West when I was pretty young. Still love the South. And Orlando still has a bit of an accent, lol.~
What do I like to do?
Well, I'm very involved with theatre. I take dance lessons (even though I'm not that good, I still love it) and am usually either cast in or directing some play or another. I also like to write plays, but I'm not very good with creating stories. I also like to sing...but again, I'm not that good. And no, sadly, this isn't me just being modest! wink
Also, besides being on chat websites like this, I love to roleplay. Love it, love it, love it. I think I’ve been in hundred of roleplays before…okay, maybe not that many, but a lot.
I guess then my last favorite thing to do is to play a good old fashioned MMO. I've met some truly crazy amazing friends on those things! ~ Yes, this is a shout-out to you Anty and Desid~! wink
Although I have some friends really into it, I haven't really gotten much into Anime / Manga yet. In fact I can probably pretty easily list all of the series I've watched / read, lol.
My friends keep dragging me to cons, and that’s kind of fun. I love the supernatural / sci fi / ghost ones! Still prefer real books though. wink
About my life as a roleplayer.
I do both types: “Script-like” and “literate.” I will not say that I prefer one to the other; I just love roleplaying, so I guess anyone who can give me a good time is someone I can work with. I tend to use boy characters…for no particular reason, really…whenever I read a description of an RP I get an idea of what character I’d like to insert into the situation and that’s the character I create.
I’m not picky about what genres I maunder about in, either. I love science fiction just as much as I love romance. And I do love romance. But sweet, “old-fashioned” kind of romance. I don’t mind being in roleplays that have more mature themes in them, but I personally will not cyber RP. All that I can tell you is that I like realistic romances that develop over time...and the biggest of my few pet peeves is cyber without plot.
Just for fun (?), my other pet peeve is overly-stereotyped characters. And...I think that's about it! Serenity really doesn't like to get mad...I just wanna RP. wink
My last note is about yaoi roleplaying. I’m not against it. I’m not really for it though, either. The whole thing is…I dunno…if someone wants to do a yaoi roleplay they have to do it right. So my verdict is yes I will do it, but there will be limits on what I can and cannot accept. BL is probably the one subject I’m most picky about, I’ll admit. But if someone has a good idea, I'd be down anytime.
As for yuri, I wouldn’t mind having a lesbian character some time in the future (since that’s one type of character I’ve never tried, and I think it'd be interesting), but I wouldn’t want her romance to be the main focus of the RP.

Postscript. I love H.P. Lovecraft. He is my favorite author of all time, and I've read literally all his stories~
