Cef's Side

The name's Cef Havoc. Cef, if you will.

Physically, I'm pretty much your Average Jane, studying Animation, liking guys and such, my own house in Barton, and with plenty of friends to slack off with. My parents are as normal as you can see, and my siblings... Well, let's just say the only unusual thing about us three is that we're more energetic than the rest.

At this point, I should probably tell you I have a demon as a roomie.

Yeah, I know...

Well, it started one day at town. I was just wandering about when I saw him pass out.

Naturally, being a Good Samaritan myself, I had my best bud and bro carry him to my house.

What? You expecting a scrawny shrimp like me carry a seven-foot tall guy to my house?

Anyway, he freaked out when he woke up, naturally, so I had to 'discipline' him into obeying House Rule #1: Never. Mess. With my stuff. -EVER-.

So yeah.

It took him a while to recover, and he was kinda surprised I -wasn't- surprised that he was a demon. Uh, HELLO?! This is -GAIA- we're talking about. Stuff like this kinda becomes normal to you after the first 5 months.

But he was new here, so I decided to cut him some slack and let him sleep on the couch for a while, as long as he pulls his weight in the chores, at least. Oh, and teach me magic. Seriously, why sweep the floor when you have sentient brooms, Sorcerer's Apprentice-style! Well, without the flooding the whole house bit, anyway...

And, well, that was the start, I guess, of our strange 'partnership'.

His story is kinda brutal, though, but maybe you should listen him out before his brain implodes.

I'm serious. He has issues.

D's Side

Oooh boy, where do I start?

Well, believe it or not, I'm not really 'here'. Let me explain.

My name is Dagrun Blare. I'm a half-demon, half... something else. Most of my people consider my birth as an omen. Most demons... they just aren't born like me. Because I can heal others.

Most people consider this a good thing. Not where I come from. I'm not exactly happy about being thought of as a harbringer of doom. It doesn't really help that my father is one of the Overlords.

I just turned 459. One more year, then I'll be crowned in my father's stead. Not that I don't want it... It's just getting difficult for me to remain among my people. The closer I get to my 'birthday', the more people want to kill me. Because of who I am.

A King, and an omen.

I ran away a few years ago because of it. The Human realm is... kind of simple. Maybe even peaceful. I like it here. No one bothers me, I'm free to do as I wish. I've only found out that most others consider my ability a 'gift'. But no matter ho good my life got in here, I needed to hide my 'unique' aura.

And then one of my friends, Cef, offered me to stay within her. No, not that kind, you pervs!

I mean possession.

It worked. Kinda. At least when she's in charge it's fully hidden. We constantly switch around, complete with appearance changes. But now she's 18 and living alone, we kinda let my form be the dominant one. Mostly because she's a tiny shrimp who wants to be tall for once, and I'm really tall. I mean really tall.

Cef is... pretty energetic. She's studying animation, and loves to draw and write. She promised me that she would write my story down and publish it.

Yeah right. She gets pretty lazy. Not that I don't mind.

So here we are at Barton, lazing about, studying and kicking Animated a**. Life's good. Especially now that I've met fellow misfits and 'freaks'.

Funny thing how that, by moving here, I found someone like me.

So yeah, livin' the good life right here in Barton town with all the freaks I can call family. Feels like heaven, if you ask me.

Just... don't mention Kat's Doll around us. I think that creepy doll's stalking me. We already beat her TWICE and she still keep hitting on me!

UPDATE:

Apparently, my life's not shitty enough. So they saddled me with a freaking GOD OF DESTRUCTION.
