Not sure about the cthulhu theory but how I have seen it is:
Steampunk is actually "sci-fi" of the past
Even though we have men in space we still dream of being out there and our sci-fi mostly consists of being out there (picture all the high modern stuff etc)
Now Steampunk (referred to as something like sci-fi in its original time) they would have been just going into the depths of water at that time, big clunky metal suits, pipework, cogs could do anything you set them to and the future lay with machinery being able to power everything for you. At that time, their dreams of the future would be being able to be under the depths where man had never been before (and in some depths still hasnt) and ofc one of the deepest creatures and threats was the octopus. They sorta.. "fit" in the themes original concept. Big machinery submarines etc. Those old diving suits are considered very steampunk now.

I hope you understand where I'm coming from, its my theory based on fact, and facts are: its just a dead sci-fi. We dont see it as our future anymore as machinery is slow, dangerous, expensive, heavy and hard to maintain.

Yeah! haha! i'd probably go with the dub just because it was the first format I saw it in. If you want to talk about true to the story or not, neither is even close to the manga which I read long before I saw either show blaugh

But if I'm ever free and I think I have time I might but for the meantime no ouo;; then you should~ I would buy avi art but I'm trying to save up money for other items I badly want orz

Aww, I hope so too. With modern medicine being what it is it's quite likely. 3nodding

Blue for the bathroom, a kind of pale yellow for the bedroom with red curtains, bedsheets, dark wood furniture and kind of a Moroccan theme for accessories. Went with off-white walls for the living room, with rainbow throws and things... trying to go for a bohemian feel. I'm going to add some paintings to the walls in the future. Not sure about the kitchen or hall yet..!

I do like store brand when I am drinking soda. I also like odd flavors, trying new things. I get so tired of the same old stuff and I only drink diet soda. Although it's not a store brand I've kind of been enjoying faygo recently. They have a lot of odd diet flavors like chocolate cream pie. Kind of terrible but different.
