Yeah it has been handled pretty badly i'd say. You can look for an event/achievement guide in the chatterbox or gaia community discussion, those are usually the best sources of information regarding events and stuff.

I do just a little.
What I would recommend would be actually just heading over to the freebies section and putting your name out there so when you head over to the actual avi art trade/buy section people know who you are. and to me if gave me experience to get the feel for how to draw certain pieces.

Also if you draw busts, full body and group avi's that'll get you a lot of customers ^_^

I'm not sure of which British stereotype you have in mind but I'll touch the topics I know

Cows: I don't really know why we are stereo typed of loving cows so much. We have lots of fields with lots of cows but we have a lot of countryside, naturally cows would be there? haha
Bad teeth: stems from a couple of things, an odd gene (which I have) and from when we used to brush our teeth with coal. Theres tiny stones in toothpaste, to get dirt off this comes from the idea of why we had used coal for the same thing. Of course there was a side effect of brushing your teeth with coal. They'd be healthy, but black. This isnt true anymore, we have white teeth like anyone else who looks after them. Wonky teeth comes from a genetic a lot of us share here, not sure why or how but a lot of people tend to have one too many teeth on the bottom jaw. Its not uncommon and its not bad and to be honest unless you're royal you dont smile with your bottom teeth.
If you see an American with wonky bottom teeth but normal top teeth, they've more than likely got some European in them.

Big noses
Or we call them "Roman noses" a fairly wide bridge to the top of the nose, again its another genetic trait that stems from the times Rome were in charge, so its been around for quiiiite some time. But again its more European than just British considering Rome is in Italy.

"The hunt"
It was just a hobby that got very popular and traditional. mostly prestigious, to afford to do such a thing meant you were very well off. Lords/Ladies/royals.
Its not really done much anymore as many frown upon it.

That we are all ginger and have big eyebrows
The ginger gene is again a European thing. Mostly seen in Scotland and Ireland in the past. Not so much since we all started clashing hundreds of years ago. Originating here, naturally the genetic is still strong. Big eyebrows...? I dunno another genetic I guess? I honestly don't see it often haha

That we are all "bloody wankers"
Britain doesn't have a friendly reputation, and we have a unique phrase to describe it that apparently we use a lot. Well.. as unique as it is to us, its more north of England you even hear it

Cockney accent
Its an accent which was around the London area a lot, I'm not sure why most americans I have met think we all have a cockney accent lol Like America, we have loads of different dialects and accents. None of them are really. more common than others to be honest with you. The more north you go the stronger and harder to understand we can become. Especially when you hit Scotland. The cockney accent idea has most likely stemmed from famous English films of our history. "Peasent" people usually had the accent, because if you were well off you were usually taught how to announciate correctly. hahah. i dont know anyone with a Cockney accent

That we know everyone personally in our country
We may be tiny compared to most countries, but being smaller our roads arent as straight or long haha, we dont know everyone

Tea and crumpets
We just liked how we made our tea and not how others made it and it seemed to stand out, then there was the whole tea dumping incident. We just like tea haha, as for crumpets, not as common as you might think but crumpets are pretty awesome

I cant think of anything else really haha if theres any more just ask bahaha

thanks smile Yes i realized i converted you after I posted, since my conversion count went up. Lol oops. this event is pretty silly, there are a few achievements though so basically you just go out quoting people of the opposite team to up your count. You really need only 25 conversions but I got my 25 achievement at 21 for some reason.
