I usually make my tuna salad with sweet relish, mayo, black pepper, and sometimes hard-boiled egg. I also love to put it on a bagel and use bread and butter pickle sandwich slices, too. It makes a great sandwich!

I made a lemon oreo cake for dessert yesterday, using the blond lemon oreos. Those things make great cakes! It's really surprising how nice a cake it can make, just adding some milk and baking powder to the cookie mix.

Also, I appreciate your comments on my past Arena avis! emotion_hug I was thinking one of these days I might enter the avi you called "ghostly and gorgeous" in the Arena - I'm happy you said 'ghostly' especially, because that's basically what I named it in my closet, haha! I'd just want to write a little story-type thing to go along with it, and nothing's really come to me yet for it. :/ Also, since you mentioned it, you might be interested to know that I built that whole avi around the hair! I saw it in one of the notable avi thingies that you see sometimes when you claim Daily Chance, and it took me AGES to find it (it's called marbled away), but once I finally did I was like 'SWEET, I need it...for something, I have no idea what yet,' and I'd been reading historical fiction at the time that I finally obtained the hair, so I kind of tried to combine and create a historical AND ghostly look for it, since those two things are kind of my jam (interest-wise). lol

By the way, thank you so much for the advice about what to pair with the ponderosa theme! For the next avi I'm working on, I intend to include the catharsis theme in it, and hopefully it'll look cool even if the ponderosa/teal theme actually isn't as prominent this time. Best laid plans... sweatdrop

Your current avi is so neat, by the way! Do you mind if I ask what inspired it (like what themes, and such)? biggrin

Oh, and that's a good question, about therapy! I've been in therapy off and on since I was 8, and as I've gotten older I've definitely realized that spending so many years in therapy has allowed me to retain more of it than I initially (when I was younger) ever thought I would or could, so it's nice to know that I HAVE actually pretty much always had these tools, but my understanding of them and how to use them has changed over the years - for the better! So yeah, I'm definitely grateful for what therapy has taught me - how to better understand myself and my feelings and what's influenced them. Like the critical thinking thing, as I mentioned last time. It is valuable. smile

I also liked the idea of the chicken and mac, the carrots just sounded really good at the time. sweatdrop The only seafood I eat is tuna mixed with mayo, though, since the mayo hides the fishy taste. I don't like anything else, so the shrimp wouldn't work for me.

I like using petite carrots to scoop up tuna salad with. Those, crackers, and celery are really good with tuna.

I prefer a sweeter carrot. They're just naturally sweet, anyway, so it kind of plays more off that natural flavor, to me.

The garlic stuff sounds great! I love flavored carrots a lot. I made a carrot-in-a-blanket last year that was surprisingly good, too.

Awww, thank you so much! I randomly felt like challenging myself to see if I could decently pair any greens with this lovely ponderosa-themed teal. I'm definitely not done trying to come up with more such avis, though, but finding greens that complement this teal is...so interesting...LOL

I'm not bad! I think I'm doing a little bit better emotionally/mentally, and thinking critically about how I'm feeling. It's an interesting experience, but hopefully in the long-run, it'll be useful. Thank you for asking!
