That’s fair! It’s def not for everyone! Harder still to play much of anything without using some sort of flash workaround. I feel like that’s probably part of why sites like this really hit the bottom of they hadn’t already.

Currently: I'm struggling.
I love the 4th of July because of traditions I had during childhood, but hearing the fireworks go off and not seeing them is making me extremely anxious.
One of my major triggers is loud noises and it's no bueno zone rn

Ah yeah I meant to type that but the part of my brain that loves food must've demanded I type that instead. lol
Back in highschool(when I first discovered Linkin Park)in english class I kept accidentally writing 'Linkin Park' instead of 'Linking Verbs'. lol
I think I might go for the Acrylic Paint because it might be easier for me to find and I already have everything else I need so thats good. ^^

Mostly the nostalgia! Been shockingly busy during the pandemic, all things considered haha. It's so nice to be back though, tbh. And to still see so many lovely people active on here!

Ok so the art thing I mentioned before is called Scratch Art and I have 3 solutions for the black over coat.
1. Black Wash (still don't know what that is but someone mentioned it)
2. Black Acrylic Paint (with or without dishsoap) -I remembered you mentioning this one-
3. Black Tempura Paint (never heard of this but someone used it)
Also you can use colored pencils, crayons, or oil pastels for the background(you obvs can color in whatever pattern you want like patches, lines, or swirls.)
I still don't know which of these was what we used in elementary school(when it dried it felt like a chalk board) but atleast I have these options to use.

So I'm pretty excited to try this out and I found quite a few videos on youtube with ideas. ^^

I was looking for what the black paint stuff is called and then your comment kept getting pushed down till I eventually forgot till today. :/
