When I lived in NY, we were in the mountains (Catskill), winter was always my favorite time of year. I couldn't wait for the first snow, building a snowman...etc...but after living in the desert, NM for 5 years. I've become addicted to warm weather, blue skies and sunshine. The old lady in me peeking out I guess.

Welcome home. Glad to hear you had a good time. This is my first Christmas without my mom. Tell your wife I feel her pain.
Heard the east got slammed. My sister in NY has 2 ft. I do not miss it.

Yes it was good. Gave kids a wii. Having fun watching them and playing some myself. Received some cds and a dvd of an old movie I have been looking for. Yes it was good.

It really is a great bunch of folks. And I found that once I found them, I quit venturing much further than the Over30ville city limits. There are scary things out there in the rest of gaia... wink

Thank you so much for writing, I really appreciate it. I have been concentrating as much as I can on the good memories and it is helping a bit.
