Nope. They just added more to my load. Granted, I only have to see this school every other week, but it's still an additional stress on my already stressed life. And it take me away from my visiting school, which I like, and leaves me in my base school, which I hate (the kencho ALT fought to get me taking out of there for the days they wanted me to go to the new school but the kencho flat out refused..) I still love Japan but I'm really soured towards the public school system. If I ever come back for an extended stay, I think I'll need to work at the academic level. And have roommates. Or at the very least a pet.

How have you been though?

Oh they're apparently not adverse to me moving, because they just gave me a new school to visit today. On top of my new school. Even though I'm leaving next month. I'm so done with this BOE. They haven't helped me at all at my school even though it's not safe. They haven't tried to get me out and now they're pulling this crap on me. I'm done. I hate this.

It's been awful? One of my students was arrested. He assaulted a teacher and broke his cheek. The teacher had to get reconstructive surgery, but the surgery went well, and the student has not been back. And that's on top of the general insanity. Two more months...

Never lived near a skeet range so that would probably have freaked me out ^.^'

That my friend sounds like only something you would find in Japan. However...Awesome!
Unfortunately things have been pretty rough for me.
Christmas was great. Amanda got all teary eyed over the Papasan chair I had got her. The days following Christmas however were not so grand. I caught a terrible stomuch flu.
I had three days off for Christmas but spent two days well, doing stomuch flu things.

I worked the following day. Fought through the drained feeling like a champ.
With an hour left in my work day my father showed up to talk to me. He let me know that my grandmother was gravely ill and in the hospital.
Right after work I went to see her. She was a bet delirious so, it wasn't the best of conversations.
She died the next evening.

I find my biggest distraction out side of the internet is the three cats in the house.
Last night I started posing questions to answer for different points of the story.
I think I am getting better structure from it.

Not bad. I think I have my wife's Christmas gift figured out.
As far as writing. I decided this story is the kind of story I need to write out of order and piece together later.
I am working on the ending first.
