*chuckles* Med school knowledge is important. I hardly notice your misspellings. I have so many of my own anyhow, I would never complain. I don't have any issues with proper grammar, punctuation or vocabulary, but I couldn't ace a spelling test to save my life.

I live in Wisconsin, U.S.A. You know, if there is anything in particular you want (a book or movie) that is available here in the states and not in Germany or England I would be happy to mail it to you. Obviously not to often, but please let me know if there is anything that's been bugging you because you can't get it.

Could you do me a favor in return and answer a question? I have been trying to find a Star Wars novel in French to read, to try to practice my French learning. The book I want is Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. All I am asking of you is do you know if it exists in a French edition? I realize you are from Germany, but the countries of Europe, from what I know, are rather familiar with each other, somewhat like our individual states over here. You might have better luck answering this question of mine than all my attempts to research through the internet.

I can understand how language would be an issue. It's why I'll never spend more than a day in France. I might have spent over two years in French classes at my own university, but I just can't seem to handle a new language. A large part of the problem is I simply can't 'hear' it right. My hearing is off kilter just enough that it makes it really, really hard to understand what someone is saying in a language I don't know as well as English. I even have trouble understanding songs on the radio that are in English at times, so you can imagine how difficult words and songs in other languages must be for me.

Quite honestly, when I talk with people such as yourself I am just amazed. You have an ability I can only wish I had. Thank you for learning English; if you hadn't we might never have spoken! ((I feel bad not knowing German, or being more fluent in French, but truly I have tried. My skills are simply elsewhere it seems.))

Hehe, you'll have to give me the address of this house/museum. Some day I intend to visit England and I would certainly wish to see this place for myself. User Image

Somehow I think I'd be right at home in Oxford. It would take adjustment, but in the end it would feel right for me.

Right next to where you are staying? Oh my, I'm not sure whether to laugh or be jealous! I'll settle for enjoying your photo. Will you be taking more?
