I see. It’s not because you don’t cry a lot that you’re not grieving properly, don’t worry about it. Everyone has a different way of grieving. And yeah, things like that are bound to happen and can be pretty tough. You might also hear some familiar sound or see someone looking a bit alike and think it’s them for a split second and realizing it’s not possible, that can be pretty hard too.
Just as long you’re not bottling your feelings everything is fine.
I hope I don’t annoy you with all that, but since I sadly lost my dad over ten years ago I ended up in that situation so I relate a lot.
