Story
Earth. In a distant future there's a city in the sky named Heaven by the men and women that built it. In days long gone this sky high piece of paradise was the jewel of a nation, the first of many of it's kind. Other countries made their versions of Heaven and it was just a matter of time until the skies of Earth were plagued by the pollution of this cities, those bellow cursed to be haunted by their shadow as they grew in number.

Meanwhile in the sky cities themselves time and the hand of man took it's toll. Some would fare better than others but Heaven was lost. A place for crime to thrive on either by the hands of criminal organizations or it's own corrupt government, both controlled by E.A.G.L.E. a ruthless military agency and now the true ruler. It became so powerful that it's influence soon spread across the other sky cities, now most of them under it's control and what's left of the Earth bellow has no option but to bend the knee.

Chapter Ten

"The world isn't fair. Why cry about it, though?
Laughter will do you so much better!"
Another of Monday's broadcast was on and Margaret and Oliver were watching it has they rode out in the back of a armored van, being brutally driven across the streets like a war tank.
"Some of my friends here on the Smile Patrol have been cut deep!
They know life likes playing pranks on us.
However, they learned that laughing at it will make you stronger - surely, stronger than the people who sit down and let their personal tragedies ran over them."
Ace, Leila and Happy the shark with a robot's body, could hear Monday's voice echo through the sewers, has every screen and speaker transmitted his words.
"Many people died because of E.A.G.L.E. Others weren't so lucky.
Ha ha ha ha! Being alive is great! but kids, learn from uncle Monday, you're not really alive if you can't live life has you want to!"
He cut his own speech with one of his fits of laughter.
"I'm not asking you to die fighting, boys and girls!
Same way I didn't ask some of my friends from the patrol to blow themselves up just to cause damage!
I admit, this party I started has been a blast but hey! It's the revolution!
Just like I said though, crying won't help you much!
So I SMIIIIIIIIILE!"
He burst into laughter again.
"Sorry about that, forgot to take my pills today!"
Margaret bit her lower lip, almost to the point it bled.
If only she could take one shot at him and be done with it.
"Now here's today's update!
The Smile Patrol and friends are happy to announce that they are opening their ranks to literally EVERYONE!
Aliens, people in costumes, junkies and anarchists, even people in E.A.G.L.E. can join us!! We don't care! Come along with us!"
He gestured has if he expected people to hop into the set through the screens and holographic projections and even walked a few steps back, laughed then ran up, getting his face too close.
"Here's the deal!
I'm bored!
Taking down a military oppressive regime is not has fun has it sounds!
Some people are to afraid to mess with them, others enjoy the ways things are and then there's the people who don't care!
SURPRISE!
I don't care!
Or I didn't, if E.A.G.L.E. hadn't put it's fat a** in my way!
I want new shiny toys and friends to play with!
Come on people, don't you want to have this jerks out of your way too?
We can beat them, all of us together!"
He applauded himself, laughing nearly out of breath.
"This is the Smile Patrol's world wide broadcast!
Today, we'll be replacing our usual musical moment with some very violent images captured by our Smile Cams! rated 18 plus!
Bye bye everybody!"
The image was distorted for several moments.
When it was restored the only thing visible was one woman, who seemed extremely frightened, wearing an unusual costume.
She seemed to be fighting something off.
The images became, too clear.
Monstrous, woman like creatures with black metal head with sharp teeth started tearing at her, tearing her apart.
This horror went on, repeating itself over and over for several minutes.
No one seemed able to cut the feed.
Only a hand full of people actually understood the implications of this footage.
Fewer knew this were E.A.G.L.E.s creatures and only one man, in his lab stopped and did what no one else but Monday had done that day in Heaven.
He smiled.
