You were a wonderful person, making sure everyone was given an equal amount of everything, no matter if they were your niece, your grandson, or your cousin. I cried for the first time in ten years when you move on, left us for the land beyond. It was pouring (sadness) that day and I took BJ (your beloved dog) for a walk because I could not handle the scene your brother/my father was causing. I ended up at Leaf's house (remember her, she was at the graduation party). There, while she poured out to me about the (yet another) fight she had had with her fiancee. It was there, in her apartment I met the man who would later become my husband, father to my lovely daughter. I just wanted, rather I needed, you to know that though the day you left me will be marred forever as a day of loss, I have been able to move on better than the others because it is also a day of gain. My daughter will know of the day her father and I met, but she will also know of the aunt I lost to gain him. It was in essence because of you that Desire' exists, is here in our lives. And I thank you in ways only you can understand. I love you. And I miss you.
Forever yours,
Crystal
