He is 11 years old and was diagnosed with leukemia last August. He was coming home from school every day complaining of headaches; he would go straight to bed and sleep all through the evening until the next morning. His mom decided to take him to his doctor, who immediately sent him to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis. There, they diagnosed him with cancer.
Jesse is still fighting his illness as hard as he can. At the beginning of this month, he was allowed to start going back to school, but he isn't out of the woods yet.
