I have 2 Co-workers who fought cancer (or is fighting cancer)
First, there is Ms. Lisa Wilkins. She has become a mother figure to me since I moved to DC from Michigan. I never even KNEW she had cancer until we were talking about our different "impairments". She said she is fine and to not worry, but she is such a strong and brave woman...a perfect mom for anyone.
Second, there is Mrs. Dale Jones. A mother, a grandmother, and a friend. She was diagnosed with breast cancer just last year...and she stayed strong. Most of us didn't even KNOW until she returned after her surgery grinning from ear to ear. She is such a wise and wonderful worker and a great co-worker.
