I can't understand why Christine choose that Raoul, instead of The Phantom. Hadn't he given her everything? Hadn't he watched over her, and loved her, and filled in the void when Raoul wasn't there? The thought that he would be spurned because of his visage confuses me. It's just a face. If I grabbed a knife and decided to go to town on Raoul's face, he'd look worse than The Phantom. Personally I think the Phantom is much more attractive, but that's beside the point. Besides, doesn't the mask just make everything so much more intresting? Which would you choose? This?

I thought so. I'd rather have someone that would enrapture me with conversation, than with pure brawn and nice hair, thank you very much.
