Ode to the Fruit Basket
heart So I was walking through Gaia yesterday, and I came across a couple of ideas for my home. I love warm colors, and elegant furniture, so I decided to redecorate just a little. sweatdrop ... okay A LOT!
So here's how it looks now: 
Yes, yes, I know I know, my pink home was just darling, however, it was a little too cute redface 4laugh for my poor male friends, you see I like to entertain and I prefer for everyone to be comfortable. Alas, I changed my bright pink walls to better suite entertainment for all genders. After being inspired that is....
My friend Daisy J has this really beautiful fruit basket in her home, and it really inspired me, the vibrant colors of the fruit against the warmth of the basket, made realize exactly how I would like my home to be, warm, colorful and inviting. I bought my self one of those fruit baskets, as you can see there on my entertainment center.

You see, when I think of home, I think of fond memories, friends, family, loved ones in general, and I also think of comfort. Comfort is so important, after walking around Gaia all day meeting and greeting I like to to relax and watch movies with my friends and loved ones.
A typical day for me usually involves at least a couple of visits to Daisy J's house and from there we usually stop by to see our friend Texas_Munchkin at her lovely Ice Cream Shop, where we of course eat free! Who doesn't love ice cream? Daisy J and I just got back from having a little domokun snack at Tex's, where I of course took pictures blaugh , you can never take too many pictures heart .

Tex is new to Gaia heart , but as you can see she fits right in, I love spending time at her Ice Cream Shop, she has the best Milkshakes this side of Gaia! It's a great pleasure to have friends such as Daisy J heart and Texas_Munchkin heart , you should take some time to get to know them.
As you can tell from my profile, I have many friends, and I enjoy having my friends over just to hang out or for a Movie Bash. I usually barrow Daisy J's place if I am going to have a dinner party, since she has that beautiful wooden dining table heart . Of course there is only ONE place to hold a birthday party and that's at Tex's, you can't beat the free ice cream, and it has enough room to dance.
So all in all, the point of my story today is that home is truly where the heart is, and I finally managed to express my heart through my home. With the inspirations from my friends and my loved ones I have found the muse of my heart, my home.

Hi, *looks around nervously* sweatdrop . My name is Addi, because I am a princess goddess I am ageless. I have been dabbling in world affairs for many decades now. I ask you to please not confuse me with my creator, we are different people. She is only 25 years old, as to where well if you wanted to go by earth years for my age I'm afraid it would scare most of you, so as I said, I am ageless. heart
I stumbled across this enchanting world of Gaia only very recently though my worldly travels have taking me to many time eras and many places, I believe I have finally found my home. heart I have decided to settle here in Gaia, as I have done much soul searching and I have lived many places, but I belong here in Gaia, I just feel it. I have never been more comfortable in my lifetime.
I bought a beautiful home 4laugh which you may visit at any time you wish, maybe you will run into my owner and I running around the house preparing for dinner, or entertaining some of my dear friends I have made during my stay here on Gaia.

I was very lucky to find a house next door to one of best friends here on Gaia. I love stopping by and just hanging out at her home. Her name is Daisy J, and you can find more information about her on her profile.

I have made many new friends here in Gaia, and I am very pleased with my home, and my friends as well. You can usually find me lurking around Gaia though out the day, as my creator runs a business from her home, and she loves to pop on and off of Gaia to relax and take a break from the "real world'.
I love receiving comments about my new styles and my owner loves comments about her creations as well, such as our profile. We also enjoy making new friends and are not reluctant to randomly comment on other profiles if we like their look, or if we just think they sound like an interesting person.
