Notebook Paper
This is a story I've just started writing. Everytime I finish a chapter I'll try and post it on here ASAP. :3 I just want to know what people think of it. Thanks!
Chapter Four: Chase
Twilight walked out of the classroom quickly as to not be bothered by Aiden. She thought she was safe before she felt a large hand grip her forearm. He was squeezing hard enough to bruise, but she showed no pain she just glared at him, wanting to kill him so badly. He slammed her against the lockers and leaned in close, his breath making her neck hairs stand on end. “How dare you?” He spoke to her almost growling at her. All she did was smile. “Excuse me? I don’t believe I did anything to you, sir” She exaggerated on the word sir. She was pretty sure he would hurt her, and she was prepared to fight back against this a*****e, like she had fought back with her father so many times before.

She had never been this close to a person before, and it was a bit uncomfortable. How can people have sex? Being so close to someone. She thought, rolling her eyes mentally. Meanwhile, Aiden was muttering quite a bit of naughty words. “Excuse me, Aiden I need to get to class. I do believe this meeting is over.” She growled at him, but he didn’t move. “Do you even know who I am?” he said.

“I don’t care who the hell you are” she said, matter-of-factly, Like she practiced every word in the mirror. He smiled in her face and squeezed harder on her arm. She didn’t even wince, because she refused to let him think he was winning. “Oh, you care who I am, I can see it by the way you look at me. You want me” Twilight shuddered at his words, wondering where the hell he got that idea from. He was obviously the cocky type, because she had never given him even the slightest idea that she found him, attractive. Maybe it was the drooling. He lifted his hand, and she had no idea where it was headed, but she did now however what it had just touched. He accidentally grazed her breasts, and Twilight would’ve thought he didn’t mean to, if he didn’t have that stupid grin on his face. Twilight lifted her knee and jammed it in the direction of his male organ. He crouched down and let her go, giving her the opportunity to run away from him. This guy was such an a*****e. She would’ve spit on him, but even she had more dignity than that. She ran straight into her next class.

This guy was too much of a buffoon to have Music.

Walking into class Twilight spotted the two people who she really wanted to talk to at the moment. The twins. Now the twins have names of course, Harmony and Melody Peters. Those two were in seperable and they just so happened to be Twilight’s best friends. She walked up to them and gave them the look that read Oh-mi-god. They were immediately interested. “What’s up, Twi?” Harmony always spoke first, because supposedly she was the first. Twilight replied slowly “There is a crazed hot guy after me” They both her quizzical looks.

“Since when is that ever wrong?” Melody asked amused. Twilight frowned at the two, she needed someone who would understand, and these two practically shared the same mind. She looked around hoping to find the face she was dying to speak to.

“Where’s Rebecca?”

Chapter Three: Fire
Chapter Three: Fire

All he did was grin, grin at the most prettiest girl he had ever seen, knowing he made her feel like s**t. What a great thing to accomplish right? Aidan had always been that way though, an a*****e. It was hi way of life, he was a bully and he wasn’t about to let a girl get in his way. No way, Jose. The way she looked at him though gave him goose bumps. He could tell she had a fighting spirit. She would probably kill him, if it wasn’t illegal. She sat down beside him and the whole room seemed to spin, until he looked back at her. She was really pretty, long eyelashes and legs that seemed to go on for days. How cheesy was that? Her fists were clenched, almost as though she was fighting not to scream at him. He couldn’t blame her though; he was a complete b***h to her. Oh well.

The introduction of the class moved on and on. Aiden was praying he didn’t have anymore classes with this strange girl, who already hated him. He was thinking of a new name for her, something funny, Like Miss PMS. He was playing with his pencil (oh your so nasty) when all of a sudden it flew through the air. He winced as it poked her right on the head. She turned around and looked at him. He could almost see the heat boiling behind those emerald jewels, which were eyes. He seemed un phased and he shrugged looking back at the teacher, feeling the heat of her anger bouncing off of his shirt. He heard a loud snap. No it wasn’t her anger that had snapped, just the pencil in her hand. Aiden opened his mouth to laugh, when the pencil flew in his direction. The pencil bounced off of his forehead and he glared at her. What the hell was her ******** problem? The teacher gave Twilight another look and she flipped him the bird under the desk. Aiden chuckled at the whole situation, when the attendance started.

Waiting for his name Aiden looked at the windows, just past someone’s head. He noticed that there was a spider of gigantic proportions clinging onto one of them, flexing its legs slowly as if it was debating whether to plunge down onto his face or to keep hanging in there. The thought was pretty disgusting. He shuddered and looked away from the window. This school really needed to be cleaned. He noticed something clinging to one of the soft strands in the girls head, and he reached over to brush it away. His palm was stinging as she swatted his hand away. “Twilight…?” The teacher had been calling someone’s name in the distance and the girl opened her soft lips to speak. Soft? Aiden thought quickly. “Here” Her voice rang out like a soft Christmas carol, or something. So her name is Twilight? “I like your name, kid” Twilight looked at Aiden with a fire in her eyes. Her hand shot out and made its way across his face. He reached up to touch his burning cheek, as she breathed heavily. Her eyes were dead locked on his own.

The bell rang.

Chapter Two: Masterpiece
Chapter Two: Masterpiece

Twilight’s eyes made there way around the hallway looking for something, anything to entertain her with. Boy how she hated boredom, it made her think about things, sometimes she just didn’t want to think. Her eyes landed on something she was sure she had never seen before. It was the most beautiful piece of artwork, crafted by God itself. Twilight was fighting to control her jaw, but it dropped anyway. My oh my, She thought. This masterpiece was living and breathing, and boy did it shine. It was crafted to look like a boy, but in her mind it was just a statue, until he moved of course. Twilight’s knees buckled underneath her. Who knew you can really get weak in the knees? Twilight wasn’t good with boys at all; the only thing she was good for was her looks. Hopefully this guy was an idiot so she could move on.

Walking over to him, Twilight felt a drool coming on. His face was tanned to the most perfect degree. He was taller than her and a lot bigger. She looked down at her feet and her lips were quivering. Twilight felt so insufficient next to this guy, though she was a great prize herself. She never really saw herself the way others did. When she reached her own locker, which just so happened to be two inches away from this stranger, she pretended to be interested with the books inside of it. He looked up at her and smiled. She melted, well not literally but she would’ve if she could. His smile was to die for. The way his lips curved only to a certain extent. She almost cried with delight. He moved his lips speaking to her, though she had no idea what he was saying. She shook her head lightly and looked into his eyes. The eyes of an angel—“Excuse me?” She had spoken entirely unsure of what he had just said to her. “Do you have any idea where the main office is? I’m new, my name is-” Oh he has a name! I thought angels didn’t have name. She quickly snapped out of trying to catch his name. She didn’t want him to think she was crazy. “--Aiden.” She smiled at him and pointed out the main office. He smiled at her and began to walk over to the office before stopping and turning making her heart stop for a beat. “You want to go out sometime?” Twilight’s eyes widened to the extremes as she fumbled to try and find the words to answer that question. He reached down and patted her head smiling, and pissing her off. No one pats Twilight’s head, no one. “I’m just messing with you, kid. See ya around!” Her cheeks flared red with anger as she burned holes in his back as he walked away.

Kid?

She grabbed her book out of her locker slamming the locker door behind her. She began to walk toward her first class of the school year. Since she liked Chemistry so much, she would mind actually sitting through the entire class. She tried to keep her narrow mind from Aiden. Oh how she loathed him now. He didn’t even know how old she was and now she was a kid? What the hell does that mean anyway? He looked the same age as she did, he was new too! The redness still remained on her face as she opened the door to the classroom, glaring back at some of the students who dared to glare at her to begin with. She looked at the teacher who shook his head disapprovingly at her, before pointing her in the direction of her assigned seat. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at the person who would be sitting beside her in Chemistry for the entire school year. Aiden.

Chapter One: Chocolate
Chapter One: Chocolate

Twilight awoke from her slumber still aching from the all nighter she pulled the previous night. Returning to the matter at hand, Twilight rolled over and was met with a pleasant surprise. Oh hello Mr. Floor, nice to see you this morning. Oh don't worry about my face; it’s just my only path to an actual reputation. She lifted herself off of the floor, her face flushed as she dusted her off pj's. She stretched a bit, her hot flesh clashing with the cool air settling in the room. She walked into her bathroom, itching lightly at the stud that was residing on her nose. She waved a meek hello toward Blaze, who was meowing his way behind her. She sighed before reluctantly bending down, still aching, and placed him on her bed, crinkling the sheets a little. She walked back toward her bathroom her hands running through her messy hair before shutting the door behind herself.

Once inside Twilight was debating what to do first. She walked over to her mirror, examining her slightly droopy lids and her glowing eyes that didn't seem to match the rest her face. She grabbed her toothbrush and toothpaste, letting the thick white paste ooze its way over the bristles on her brush. She began to brush her teeth looking around the room, almost expecting someone else to be there. That was highly unlikely seeing that she had been living alone for quite sometime. After she finished brushing, she walked over to her shower. She leaned over and with a loud squeak turned on the faucets. The steam reached her face, opening up her pores and making her sniffle lightly. The rest is not needed to be explained.

After her shower Twilight walked out her bathroom yawning. She grabbed her clothing from her drawer. She loved this outfit, so she planned it earlier. She would be wearing a chocolate brown vest, with a little lacing, itching its way up the sides. She also was going to wear her favorite jean miniskirt. It ruffled at the end, so she thought it was pretty funny, for some strange reason. She also had a white button down shirt ready to be worn beneath the vest. No outfit would be complete without a pair of stockings, and on today’s menu would be fishnets. To add icing to the cake, Twilight topped it all off with chocolate brown and white converse. Then she etched some dark eyeliner around her eyes. She added a teeny tiny bit of lip gloss, only because she didn't want her lips to be dry.

After she finished getting ready to go, she picked up her black cat. She ran her fingers through his fur and gave him a quick peck as a goodbye. She grabbed her messenger bag for school and walked out of the door. She made her way around her car and into the driver’s seat. She placed her bag, on the passenger’s seat before pulling out of the driveway. Her shiny black convertible made its way smoothly down the streets, and toward a new school year. On her way she was fixing her hair, which now had a chocolate brown flower in it. Pulling into the parking lot of her humble high school she smiled up at the place, she had come to love it so much. She parked and stepped out of her car, slamming the door behind her. The walk to the front door of the school seemed more like an army battlefield, rather than a high school. So many glares and dreamy looks made there way to Twilight in her direction. She wasn’t the Queen Bee, in the high school Hive. She was just admired by basically, everyone. With admiration also came hatred. As long as there was a balance Twilight didn’t mind one bit. She finally made it inside of the school. It smelled like notebook paper. It reminded her of something she had written a while ago when she was bored in class. It was supposed to be an introduction to a story she had been writing. She began to look around for something to entertain herself with.

Diary Entry: Twilight. [Still Part Of the Book]
Dear Diary. <3 (Hmm don’t you love hand drawn emoticons?)
Here’s a window into my mind.
I draw and play music like I care what everyone else thinks? I wish I had an inspiration though. I'm often quiet; A little too quiet. No I don't hate life; I've just made some pretty bad choices. Can you blame me? It’s not exactly like I've had 'parents' to hold my hand. I'm sarcastic and funny though many people don't get the chance to see that side.

I'm the girl who sits in front of the room; her hand never ceasing to wave in the air. I never give anyone a chance to speak. I'm the girl you start to hate because I get an A+ and you get an A. I get good grades just as easy as you breathe. I piss you off, and sometimes I enjoy it. I'm the girl whose head never ceases to be buried in a book. I'm the girl you want to help you with your math homework, or rather do it for you. I'm the one who just so happens to look better than you even with glasses on. I'm the one who hates you right back, but always smiles in your face.

I'm always playing music at home, locked in my room, in my world. I can be nice, sure. I'm actually very nice; probably not to you, but to people I really care about or can trust. People I can trust so far: 0. don’t get upset if I look at you and blink. That’s just who I am. That’s probably why I have barely any friends, and I have a cat. I'm brutally honest, even if it hurts you. People hate me because I actually look...good. Well that’s what they say. I don't see it. Even my body seems like it belongs at the popular table. I think I started to distract people, after I hit puberty. I think its funny, but then again everything is funny. Well I have big breasts, if you didn’t get what I was saying before. I can feel your jealousy, I like it.

My father used to abuse me though no one knew it. My mother didn't care, because she was too drunk to even remember having a child. I tried to fight back, but I just usually ended up at the library, until they abandoned me of course. I live alone. The truth hurts doesn't it? I've never been kissed, for all the seventeen years of my life. I even have a cat.

I hate girly girls. Then again, who the hell doesn't? All they think about is how much they love shopping and boys. Did I mention I absolutely hate shopping? Girly girls probably consider shopping a sport. Ha! How the hell can anyone find walking around and picking up clothes interesting? I have other things that I can occupy myself with. Like playing the piano or reading! Like a girly girl even knows what the hell a book is. I hate people who are way too happy. On the contrary I hate people who aren’t happy at all. I guess I’m just contradicting myself. I love watching others laugh; it brings me great joy to know that I put a smile on someone else’s face. Like I wish others could do for me.

I like boys…and girls. Yeah I know, nasty! Well I like everything sorry for the way I am. I don’t think it’s that big a deal. I’ve barely had any girl crushes so if you’re a girl, don’t worry I won’t hit on you. Unless I think you’re hot. If I do…than I’ll hit on you, sorry! Well I’ve always been a bit short for my age, five feet six is pretty short, right? I’ve only grown three inches since I was fourteen. I hate it.

No I’m not normal I’m simply out of this world

Luff Luff <3,
Twi

A Poem By Twilight [Still Part Of the Book]
A Poem
By Twilight

Look at how my world is fading, slowly turning low
But could it be, that magically, there's something there, I stop and stare,
The mirror in your eyes...

You told me I could go anywhere, just open my eyes
My spirit rise, my heart divides, and yet all I can see in the sky is
Deadly black and grays

Flickering flame of the evening, paint a dream for me so I can open
Open my eyes, to the night sky.
The pen tip's dry, you won't be sleeping...

Though I can't see the blue sky, my umbrella won't be substitute for joy today
don’t you think that it's good? Take the canvas and paint, paint away
Throw in your white flag if you don't think you can paint my visions of the blue sky, blue sky
It's okay because I can see the red glare down deep in your eyes

Colors under the fluorescent lighting, light up all I thought I saw
And what I saw, when it was there, the chessboard's colors tell me something that I had never knew

We were so close in that one night, that one night when you thought we should be so
Be yes away from each other... a dreadful night, don't you remember?

I only want to watch the changing colors of the orange sunset next to you
Don't you think that it's good? Take the canvas and paint, paint away
You showed me black clothes worn by people praying for the lost and lonely far away
Spirits hearing what they said, follow endlessly day after day

If you can paint nothing but sorrow then you truly aren't who I thought that you weren't meant to be
Here I am and there you are, drawing, painting so furiously
Throw in your white flag if you don't think you can paint the visions that I see inside
You don't know me anymore.

I'm a different color than before...

Notebook Paper
Notebook paper and pen. It’s the background noise in schools nationwide as it’s crumpled and tossed into garbage pails. Pages in spiral notebooks and three-ring binders turn and ruffle; sheets are folded.

Folded into what? Sometimes, it can be origami; or a game. It can be the world’s smallest football. It can be a canvas for some bored student with a rainbow of ink pens and a hatred of dull white space.

But its main purpose--hence the name--is to bear notes. Notes for class, essay outlines, student council meetings, sports, and plays.

And of course: the secret, forbidden bearer of messages between fellow classmates.

For the classroom is meant to be a serious place. The teacher, dedicated yet jaded eyes the room with a mixture of hope and disdain for the small mob of young humanity imprisoned in their desks. And no more appropriate locale for this scene exists than within a high school.

In high school, a student’s body is mature (or in the process of maturing); prepared to engage the rigors of adulthood. Yet the student’s mind retains the wild, reckless zeal of the child; fearless, and blind to the pitfalls that lurk in the wilderness of maturity.

Two students in a somewhat a typical high school have learned the value of the locker. For one student, it’s a place to store her textbooks. For the other, it doubles as a prison for the weak--with him as the jailer.

Both are about to discover another use for the locker: as a mailbox. A safe, neutral hiding place for the bleached wood pulp courier of their words and thoughts.
