there's a lot of people who don't take any responsibility for their lives... but on the other hand, if someone burns down your house, it actually is someone else's fault.

The world is full of arsonists (metaphorically), most of whom we'll never know, many never knowing the consequences of their actions, and an entire arson industry employing hundreds of thousands of minor arsonists who do their small arsons desperate to make ends meet. But if you can be a major arsonist... well, arson pays VERY well.

Perhaps we should all take more responsibility for our part in creating and sustaining a world which rewards arson so handsomely... the systemic arsonization of the world was here long before any of us were born... The song "We Didn't Start The Fire" is pretty old after all, and it's true, they didn't start the fire, but when realizing it wasn't their fault or responsibility, they sure did added fuel to it. Now it's our turn. Now the fire is our responsibility, but ... we didn't start the fire.

Go now, sleep well my little arsonist, because tomorrow you must go back to your job, endlessly fueling the conflagration that slowly consumes the world. It's not like YOU have a choice, everyone's gotta eat.
