the touch of my feet against something rough,
the feeling of water pressing on my body,
going down just for a dip, won't that be refreshing?
mind spins, heart races
It feels like all my air is vanishing.
Do you tell anyone your panic?
They might think you ridiculous
or at the least silly
but for some unexplicable reason
that fear is a part of me
deep waters
drowning
darkness
these are the things that afflict me
when i enter any
type of body of water.
maybe being afraid of drowning also
leads to similar fears.
anxiety when being overwhelmed
the fear to totally let oneself feel
immersed in anything life has to offer.
so, will I try
to let these things go
Even as much as I
would feel relieved if this was so
they are apart of me...
If you want to accept me... then you must accept this as part of me.
