Element: Wind Username: H-E-I-N-O-U-S Name: Ruhe Brise [Last name unknown...][Tis German] Age: 17 Sex: Female Race: Human Bio: As a newborn child, her parents named her "Calm Breeze." Little did they know how closely her name would relate with her physical being. The year Ruhe turned seven, her parents decided to move from Germany to the United States, for reasons she did not understand at the time. Shortly after they had settled themselves in the U.S., Ruhe was taken for research purposes, purposes her parents had (apparently) known. At first, nothing seemed to have happened, but once another child was added to the experiment group, strange things began to happen. The summer after she and her parents had moved to the United States, Ruhe tagged along with a relative for a vacation on a cruise. When she returned home, some I.I.C. people were waiting at her house, waiting to tell her that her parents had fallen ill and died (along with many other people) while she had been away. She had stared at them blankly, not comprehending what they had told her; but when she ran into her parents' room to greet them, everything became clear. The I.I.C. people had dragged her, sobbing, from her home, transporting her somewhere where she would be safe, along with the other five, who had been fellow experimentees. After they all had been released, Ruhe returned to her original home in Germany's countryside, but found her home inhabited by another family. By this time, she was old enough to know how to care for herself, and she traveled elsewhere, vanishing from the memories of those who knew her. During her time of 'invisibility', Ruhe trained herself, strengthening her abilities.
Now she traverses the globe, partly for entertainment, partly for learning, and partly for better acquainting herself with the other five. Personality: Contrary to her name's meaning, Ruhe is not calm at all. She is unable to sit still for more than five minutes (and even that's a struggle). Doctors have diagnosed her with A.D.D., but she thinks that's all crap. Long story short, she is extremely energetic. She keeps herself preoccupied by crocheting, drawing/sketching, or fidgeting with her necklace when her energy must be subdued. Ruhe is very particular with certain things being done a certain way, but the list is short, and the specificities are simple. Therefore, her agitation of the certain things not being done her certain way are easily fixed. She has a flaring temper, easily irritated, quickly extinguished. Ruhe is basically incapable of holding a grudge. She is also very loyal to those close to her, and should their health or being be in jeopardy, Ruhe would not hesitate to help them in any way she can. (Don't take this to mean that she's a pushover, though.) Her mind is very curious, causing her to explore and study practically everything. This makes her very knowledgeable, especially with superfluous things that would not be very useful to the majority of people. Ruhe also learns very quickly. If she does not know how to do something, but wants to learn how to do it, she can learn the technique or method practically immediately (depending on how difficult the technique or method is). Finally, Ruhe is quite shy, except for when she is with those she knows. Then, she's the loudest, weirdest person anyone could ever meet. Picture: Short for her ethnicity, Ruhe stands at a mere 5' 2". Her vibrant blue eyes are slightly slanted, giving her face a feline appearance. Her face is slightly rounded, but her jaw has a strong angle to it, giving her a defiant look. Ruhe's blond hair is so light, it seems more white than blond. She usually has it pulled back into a high ponytail, tied with a simple black band. (On special occasions, she'll grace the world with a ribbon.) Although she is short, her legs are long, allowing her to take super long strides when she walks. Her arms are long as well (for her body's design). On her right hip, she has a tattoo of the Chinese symbol for wind. Ruhe likes to keep her clothing simple, and she usually wears some type of baby t-shirt with denim jeans, or denim shorts. Her Nike tennis shoes are her only pair of shoes (but she wouldn't want any others anyway). On a chain around her neck hangs an obsidian pendant: the Chinese symbol for wind. She usually carries one of the many shoulder bags she has crocheted, which contains personal family heirlooms, her crocheting tools, a large sketchbook, and some other art utensils, as well as other essential items.
