Wine is really dissappointing
I meant to write this yesterday, but forgot. I am so dissappointed at how nasty wine tastes. People make such a big deal of it, and it tastes awful. I guess I was expecting grape juice with a zing or burn, but it was more burn and "I'm fermenting, bitter, something," which would make more sense if it was "I'm fermenting, bitter, grapes." At least then it would taste exactly like what it was. I was expecting far too much out of it. *Sigh* sad I got all excited for nothing.
Well, actually the white wine I had wasn't so bad. It's supposed to taste better chilled. I think I'm gonna go try some now.
That was a slightly painful, but not altogether bad experience. It defintely had the burn, some grapey taste, and a wee bit of zing. White wine is defintely the wine I'll drink if I become a wino, which is highly unlikely.
