It's been a long day
I went to the Princess Project with Caroline today and got my prom dress! She got hers as well. I'm really happy that I went, and had her to come with me. I love shopping for dresses with friends. heart It was super fabulous. I tried on 4 dresses, all of which looked good on me. I ended up taking the dark red one. It makes me look long, which I love. Thank you Caroline for helping me pick it out! heart
On a sad note, one of my neighbor's cats died really early this morning and we found her body this morning when we left to pick up Caroline. We didn't think it was the cat that had died because it looked a lot bigger than the cat was and it looked grey in the dark. I feel so bad that I had no idea that it was poor little Pearl. I feel so awful for my neighbor. Her cats are like her children, whom I've babysitted a lot. Pearl was a really cautious little thing and she didn't really like to be touched by people. She was fairly young, so her death was totally unexpected. cry What's sadder to me is that she was just starting to except me as someone she could trust again. She had a tendency to forget who people were if they weren't feeding her everyday. I named her the exotic, because she had such a gorgeous and unusual pattern on her. Poor baby. RIP Pearl. I'm gonna miss you.
