Chapter Six:Enter Mizu-The Princess

The following trekking across the vast land of the Sutaki Valleys.Half of their food and water was ever since they made it across the Altimere River.
"Are we almost there?"Sarah moaned.
"Almost,"Elda said happily,"We're about two more miles away from the Kingdom of Dragons;where the palace is."Kayla hadn't spoken ever since they came to the valleys.
"What's wrong?"Yukai asked,"You're so quiet.Why?"
"It's-it's nothing,I'm fine,"she answered and walked onward.The elves stopped.
"Hey,why are we-"Sarah started but was stopped by a loud whistle from Elaine.A few minutes passed and a large white dragon landed a meters away from the elves.
"Good morning,Starlight,"Elda greeted happily.Starlight replied a low,happy growl.The girls stared with pure amazement.
"What,you haven't seena dragon before?"Elaine said while boarding the dragon.
"Uh,duh!I've never seen such a beautiful creature before!"Yukai said and approached the dragon carefully.Starlight bowed her head so Yukai could rub her silky,pure white scales on her nose.They all boarded Starlight and made sure they held on tight.When all was ready,she spread her wings in the air and quickly took off.At first she was unsteady,but she soon leveled out and slowly descended near the ground for more speed.
In a half hour,they reached the castle gates.They entered the large courtyard,filled with all kinds of flowers and trees,with some that the girls never knew existed.Scattering everywhere were elves and dragons playing,doing chores,or just sitting around,enjoying the beauty of nature.
"Wow,I've never been to a palace before,much less a kingdom outside of our land,"Sarah said while gazing at the beauty.Soon the commotion started.A young dragon hatchling heard Sarah's voice and started wobbling over to her.It tried to growl but it ended up as a high pitched squeak.Suddenly an elf looked where the squeak came from and saw Elaine and Elda.
"You're back!"the elf gasped.The others soon heard and gathered around Elaine and Elda.
Once they all surrounded them,a female elf shouted,"Look! It's the princess!" Like a wave of the ocean,the elves and dragons bowed down.In the air was a teenage girl in a layered red dress flying on an auburn-colored dragon.The girls swiftly bowed down as soon as she landed.
"You all may rise,"said the princess,"Elda,Elaine,bring me the girls."Elaine and Elda quickly rose and led the trio to the princess.
She had pure red hair up in a pony-tail held by a golden ribbon,with two groups of hair hanging over her elven ears.Her eyes were a mixture of red and orange with a calm expression embedded in them.
"Welcome to our palace.I am Mizu,daughter of the Queen of Dragons.You are?"
"I'm Sarah,and this is Kayla and Yukai."
"Nice to meet you three,"Mizu said and bowed slightly."Come with me,you have a vey important meeting with my mother."
