ok. i got this last week... and at first, everytime i tried to move a group into a dorm.. or load the dorm, it'd lock up... so i removed all my custom content i had downloaded... it worked... stare needless to say, this pissed me off a lot because i lost some awesome hairstyles. I'm not even kidding. i really liked them sooo much... and some make up types as well. It just really rocked my socks! heart
Also, i got my hands on some master cheat code code... like.. it's a code that opens up the dev's debugging the cheat programs tool thingie.. yeah. so, if anything doesn't want to load or work properly, i can open that tool and it will run right... however, once i'm in that mode... i couldn't get it to turn off... sweatdrop
yeah. so anyways, in pleasantview the town with Unikorn's family and the worthy females and my coffee shop... well, i can only ship teens to college... sad such a bummer i know... so.. i guess i should have waited to let uni's kids grow up.. even 2 of them. could have sent them off to college too.. oh well. anyways, I did make some entirely new people for that town's college. each town can have up to three college towns for it.
and then, i went to Taquito city.. the middle of nowhere grand canyon looking town... and gave them a college town too. now, this city is loaded with teenagers... so, i moved astraea, kain, and crono genthe from one of my gaia family homes in there together. they are now living in a small dorm. astraea went with a physics major, kain is in a math major [how funny is that? he's one in real life too... lol xp ], and crono genthe is... a business major. then, i left their house and took krystal princess and sent her to school. she is doing good. man... i think in college they give you too many aspirations and goals to fulfill in that time. i mean.. the time goes by soooo fast when you're there... like.. check it out. you can take your sim into campus to hang out or work or whatever... well, even tho when you get back to the dorm afterwards, you didn't miss time in the sense that it's the same time when you get back... however, the clock that ticks towards your final exam.. keeps going... so.. i really feel like they are cheating you out of your young adult's opportunity to study and experience all campus life has to offer. I think they make it to where you gotta choose between partying and studying... i can see the logic in it.. but i can also see where that logic is also flawed. i mean... sure, college is about getting a degree.. but it is also about breaking free and experiencing life with no adults and noone to tell you what to do.
