Poem, it blows, it would have been even worse, but I got help.
Hawk and the sparrow.
It was love at first sight for the sparrow
And he accepted it, just to be close to her
He was full of false words,
Empty promises
Wanting just to rip at her flesh
Tear at her heart…
But the sparrow stayed with the hawk
Her battered form offering him warmth
Her tattered wing offering him shelter
The hawk rewarded her efforts
With pecks with scratches
He was predator of all
Companion of none
He chose to drown in solitude
He chose to suffocate in guilt
The sparrow's wounds never healed
Her chest
Ripped open
Her heart
In sight
She didn't mind as long as he was with her
Thinking love was what he needed.
Yet, the hawk saw other birds
And when done with the starling and the dove
The sparrow forgave him.
In the midst of it all, the hawk transformed,
He no longer picked at her heart,
He no longer viewed her as prey,
He saw her as the beautiful creature she was.
He vowed he had changed.
He vowed he would stay
Forever at her side no longer seeking easy prey
She nodded her head
She believed every word
But in the end,
A Hawk is just a Hawk
A Sparrow is just a Sparrow
Predator and prey.

Prizm's stuff.
Well, basically everything in here is either produced when I was was really happy or really sad.
