A simple game of Chess...
The tallest and most dangerous person stands taller than the rest. Leering and geering his reign. Everyone knows of the King. In the game of chess, he is taller than all the rest. A formidable foe that stands tall. The King may not seem like an interesting person, but for the game to be over, the King must fall. The king stands taller than even the Queen, who came move to any space on the board.

The King knows that to win he must use the pawns. The Pawns of War. He sheds no tear, nor shows any remorse when the pawns fall, cold, bleeding and dead on the field. He laughes! Like their lives are no more important than the chicken he had for dinner last night. He flicks them down, one by one, to reach his goal. The other King. But, what few know, or remember, is that it's the Pawns that win the war.

The Pawns must fall for the King to stand. Pawns. Pwans, they are what truly determine the out come of War. What happens when the Pawns start to turn. They fight to beat both Kings? They, who are the rightfull owners of the title 'King'? Pawns are the true kings of the battle field. They are the Formidable Foe. The King? He can only move one space. The King? Two hits and he could be down.

What happens when the Pawns start to turn? When the Queen knows her turn is yet to come? She flees. Most do. The King? He stays. Beliving that he stands taller than the rest. His word is Law. He is the one that owns the bleeding husks of flesh that hit his field. Just as well... Pawns beilive that he can have the sick and the dying.

"Take them! We have no use! The King can have what he has worked so hard to achive!" The Pawns all shout. They are turning. The tables are moving. Not infavor of the enemy. Not of the Queen. Not of the Sick or the Dying. But, to the Pawns. The Pawns will reign. They will have power over the King. All the King will have is the Sick and the Dying. As the King beilives he is winning, he takes no notice of the turning Pawns.

In dead of the night the Pawns creep. Flowing through the cracks in the Castle, seeping in the windows like a shadow that can't be seen. The breath of the many Pawns falls on deaf ears. The moving forms fall on eyes wide shut. Gentle breathing of the Knights, Rooks, Bishops, even the Queen flows under their doors. Pawns move in for the Kill. The King plays on his bloody battle feild, unaware of his coming demise.

The simple knowledge that keeps the King, Queen, Knights, Bishops, Rooks and whatnot, is this... Pawns are Stupid. They are crupted easily by the thought of power. Humans are simple minded like that. They beilive power is for them and only them. So they will seek it out. Once that leaks out, the Pawns jump at the chance. They hear the words,'The King is a moron,' and they leap at the chance to become the new King. The Formidable Foe, the one that will make the bodies fall, cold, bleeding and dead on the already bloodied battlefield.

All it takes is one person. That one person can say a few choice words and the Pawns will come running. This one person is the true King. The true Formidable Foe. The one that plays on the battle field. Frolics in the rows and rows of dead bodies. Laughes at the stupidity of humans, jokes and pokes like the best of them. Pushing, shoving, gesturing in one direction to make the pawns move.

That one person is the true King. Oh sure, he may not have the Crown nor the title. But, he weilds the Sword of Power better than King Aurther himself. He works in shadow. Face covered in a cloak. The cloak covers the all knowing smirk. This smirking form is what leads the battles. Yet the Pawns don't know. The real Pawns are all the players in the game of chess.

The one person who rules has his own simple knowledge. His knowledge is, that with one simple flick... The king is down. A bump of the table and the backrow is on it's knees. Then, it's only a matter of time before the Pawns scramble off the field. Angry that they won't rule. Scared at not knowing who flicked the King. Embaressed that they fell for a simple trick. In Awe that they are at the hands of a powerfull ruler.

The tallest and most dangerous person, is the one that stands leering and geering in the back. The one that brings shadow and mystery. Everyone knows the King. In the game of Chess he is taller than all the rest. A formidable Foe. One that does the bidding of the cloaked shadow. Not knowing that he his being ruled. Not knowing he wasn't the Foe. Never once doubting his power.

The chess player... He is the true formidable foe. He was one of the quiet ones. The one that the King thought was just a Pawn. The one that no one saw coming. "It's the quiet ones you want to watch out for," may sound like a silly little line. But the King, Queen, Rooks, Knights, Bishops and even the Pawns feel they have been played.

The hand has come down and moved the peices. The shadow crosses. The one that truly rules, regins over this barren land. Over the Pawns. Over the Kings bloodied fields. Over the fast acting Queen. Over everything. This man... Why... You know him. He is the one you least expect. Don't beilive? Watch... Your 'King' will fall... You will see the Pawns move. But, one will not. The one that doesn't... He is the one that moves the peices. He is the one who made the King fall...

He is the... Puppet Master...

Boy... This was really random... Huh... I had to get it off my chest though. It, oddly, made me feel better. *shrugs* I won't really ever know why.
