Mieko and Shroom's Story
Kaine just stared at the clock ticking away, minute but minute, waiting and...'Ding!, Ding!, Ding!' the bell rang. Kaine stood up startled and had a surprised look on his face , and began looking around at everyone staring at him. It was exams week the final week and then it was vacation. Kaine blushed and blinked a few times and sat down staring at his paper and looked out the window and just sighed then glanced over at Aaya. Kaine leaned over to Aaya and whispered "Psst...Aaya...What are you doing?" As he waited for a reply he went back to his exam.
Aaya looked up. Her pale gray-blue eyes glared. "I'm finishing my test, Kaine-kun." She chuckled at his startled reaction. Standing up, the class looked at them again.
"Where are you going?" Kaine asked in his innocent way. Aaya only shook her head with a knowing smile. Getting out of her seat, she took her exam up to the teacher's desk.
The teacher nodded and she went back to her seat. All the students started to whisper. Kaine urged to speak again, but, Aaya only raised her hand, closed her eyes, smiled and shook her head. Kaine blinked and shrugged. Later that night something happened that should have never happened. Kaine's clothes were stolen! So the next day at school Kaine wore his sister's school girl uniform. Yet it was quite breezy in a manly way. Of course he used the 'It's the new trend in Scotland...' But its still didn't explain the feminine shirt that he was wearing. Of course people pointed and laughed at him during the exams and Kaine turned to Aaya with a pleading look on his face.
Aaya laughed. "Don't worry. I think it's cute." Patting the poor boy's shoulder, she turned back to her desk. She was still chuckling- Her thoughts were so far off, that she didn't notice that she called Kaine cute. Pausing halfway though an Answer, she blinked. The teacher blinked. The class blinked. Kaine was blushing.
"Something wrong Hatsumamo-san?" Aaya shook her head. Sitting back down, she lowered her head. The shrugged and scribbled something down in his notebook. "Ok...."
Kaine nudged Aaya. She barley moved. He frowned, his aqua eyes filled with concern. "What's wrong?" He asked, at a last attempted for an answer.
"I feel weird."
Kaine was blushing like never before, then, someone yelled,"Aaya and Kaine sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G..."
"Now that's quite enough!" The teacher said in the stern way that teachers can.
After school things only got a little weirder. As Kaine was walking home with Aaya, he noticed that they hadn't talked since the "cute" incident. With quick thinking and smartly placed words, Kaine started off by saying, "Sooooo..." In that oh so lazy voice. Aaya looked up with a slightly embarrassed look on her face.
Kaine blinked a few times and smirked, glancing over at Aaya. "So, I'm cute. Am I?" He teased her, while still wanting to know. Aaya stopped while Kaine kept walking, ending up, about, a yard away form her. Kaine's smirk grew into a look of pure concern. Aaya's eyes went blank with a melancholy look to complete the picture. Kaine blinked.
"Aaya?"
Aaya blinked and looked up at Kaine. "Huh?" Her voice was clear and distant.
Kaine just stared at her and blinked a few times. "Aaya are you ok?" He asked with a bit of concerned tone in his voice.
The girl shook her head, but the cloudiness just wouldn't dis spell. Kaine gave her a shy smile and he looked tot he sky. "You know, your kinda cute too..." He trailed off, without realizing what he said. He blushed a little. Aaya looked up with a disbelieving look. There was a sudden gush of wind and Kaine dropped his bag, trying to keep his bag down.
Aaya snickered. She tried to keep a straight face, but couldn't help but laugh at him. "Damn skirt!" Kaine cursed. "I hate you so much!" He was pissed. Aaya chuckled and said, "I thought it was a kilt." A small chuckle here. Kaine blushed so much that Aaya thought he reached a new level of blushing.
"Aw... Your blushing." She teased him. Kaine looked really pissed now... "I-I'm not blushing!" He stammered. "I'm going now bye!" He rushed. Turning he ran down the road. Aaya blinked "Uh... Ok..." Pausing once, she shook her head and kept going to her house. The atmosphere turned awkward.

That night Aaya lay awake. Groaning and rolling over, she lay on her stomach. "Jesus!" Sitting up, Aaya glared at the wall.
"My head hurts..."
A dark figure appeared out of the darkness and said, "The time has finally come." Aaya just stared at it.
"Exuse me?"
The figure just starred at her. "My God! I'm saying you have the spirit of an Elven Warrior! You know... Magic... And... stuff..." The thing ended lamely. Aaya just stared at him.
Sliding her feet over the edge of the bed, she felt the cool wood against her feet. Tucking her platinum hair, out of habit, behind one ear, she frowned. Pale blue eyes closed, then, after a few minutes, reopened.
"That doesn't explain it..." Pausing for a moment, she tapped her chin. "Show me..."
"Urrg... Fine!" He finally answered. Sighing, he held out his hand. A bright neon mixture of purples, pinks, blues, and yellows glowed around his hand. Then he realized the energy and a white light shot out through the room. Then her room was glowing and an Aqua blue sat on the ground, it reminded her of Kaine's eyes. She pulled herself off of the bed. She placed her feet into the cool liquid. The source of it came from a fountain in the middle of the room. A light appeared and blined them and it was gone. Her heart was racing.
Aaya blinked her shadowed eyes. "Ok... That was the freakiest thing I have ever seen." She breathed, waiting for her heart to calm.
The hooded figure said with a semi pissed off voice and said " Ok...Now are you convinced?...well? I'm not a patient person so please answer soon..." He said calming down a bit. Aaya stared at him and said " Well I guess that was a start and I guess I will have to be satisfied with that..." She said in a cool voice. Aaya smirked. Sweeping her arm out for a deep bow, she stood back up. "Alright, oh impatient one. Tell me what I am." He just stared blankly at her..."Didn't I tell you already?" He said kind of starting to get pissed off. " And! Another thing! me no likie sarcasm got it?" He said trying not to sound pissed. "Well anyway we better start to get going so yeah lets move out--" He said. Aaya Said cutting him off "...W-wait! What about Kaine?! Can we take him with us?" She begged. He said " Is it a pet?" Aaya replied with a " No...." and then the hooded figure said "very well then. He can come." So the twosome kidnapped him from his bed that night and took him with them.
The next morning Kaine woke up saying " Where the heck am I? How the heck did I get here?" Aaya just said that doesn't matter when he brought up the fact that there was a bruise on the head, Aaya hide a giant stick when he asked that particular thing. Kaine, still asking questions on his behalf, "How did I get into a forest, and, who is that guy over there with a cloak?" The figure stood up off his rock and said " I am Matt..." Aaya looked puzzled. " You know, to me you look like a Scott but what ever..." She said. Kaine said " Well...Matt..." he said in a 'If thats your real name' kind of tone..." Why did you bring me here?" Matt looked up. " As if you didn't know...Your girlfriend told me to bring you..."He said. Matt gave his this disbelieving look. Kaine blushed. Matt looked a little puzzled and said "...Wait..She isn't your girlfriend?..." Matt paused for a minute or two and looked up at Kaine and said " Well now! This changes every thing doesn't it?" Matt Smirked.
