A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a whistle from McNeela Instruments because I wanted to learn how to play my wild Irish whistle. I didn't stop to think that learning to play the B flat whistle would be different than the D Key whistle, which is stupid of me, but it is what it is. I can learn to play both whistles. I learned beginners should start with the F, key before branching off, so it made it easier for me to choose the D key whistle sooner rather than later (I intend to purchase all the wild Irish whistles from McNeela Instruments soon). I believe I can use the tuning techniques on my b flat whistle the same as the D whistle. This wouldn't be the first instrument I'm learning how to play. Perhaps I'll post a journal about the other instruments another time. Ah! Yesterday, no one was home to sign for my package, so I had someone to go pick it up at the post office today. Tomorrow, I'm going to sign up for the whistle class on the McNeela Instruments website so I can learn how to play my whistle while having something to help me!

As for the links, someone posted a comment on my journal about journal portals still being around. I haven't been able to find it myself, so when they sent me the link to the journal portal, I was ecstatic; unfortunately, they stated it's mostly people squeezing journals to get currency. That's sad news, but there isn't much I can do to change that. At least I can now look through journals again! I'm still not sure how he got the link to the journal portal! Whenever I try, I just get sent back to my own journal! I've asked him how do I find it, but they haven't answered.
