Encounter
Water. Something so gentle and pure, but at the same time strong. Many say that water purifies and washes away the pain; of the body, heart and soul. She laughed bitter as she remembered those words on her mind. She opend her crimson eyes as she looked up into the sky. She watched and felt how the drops of water fell from the sky, into the ground around and on her body. For a moment she felt like a fool, for believing that the rain could wash away her sorrow and her pain on her heart. No, she wasnt feeling pain, because she wasnt loved. It was all the way around. They loved each other with such a passion, that she though of it as pure fire. Her heart filled with joy and happines as she remembered their kisses, their caresses and their words, filled with promises of an eternal life together. Just the though of it all, set her blood in a storm of fire. Reality brought her back, as she heard thunder not far away from her. She walked down to the lake and cursed her own kind.
'Why couldnt we be together?' she asked herself.
She steped in the surface of the lake and walked ot the middle of it.
'Why not? We are both eternal and dark creatures.' she keep repeating on her head.
With a swift movememt of her hand the rain slowed down. She was getting angry and hatred was growing fast inside of her. Another movememt of her hand and the rain droped down faster than before. The water of the lake turned into a swirl by her own will and power.
'Why her own kind didnt understand the love they shared?'
The rain and the lake calmed down as she remembered the words.
"My heart and soul belong to you."
Those were the last words she heard before her loved one, retuned to his own dark kingdom. She wanted to go.
"No", her loved one said. "I will return to you, my love." and it desapeared in the shadows of the night, like the vampire he is.
Tears made their way down her pale skin as she remembered that momemt so clearly, like it was yesterday. She wanted to destroy everything that didnt allow them to be together.
'Wait for me.' She heard those words and looked around trying to find the source of them. "I know that voice." she said. "But is impossible, he is far away."
'Because Im away phisically, that doesnt mean, that our hearts are away, my love.'
She heard inside of her mind and smiled. She was happy to hear his gentle and yet strong voice.
"I wish you were here with me." she whispered to the night. 'I am.' he answered.
She laughed bitter at his words. "If you are here, then why can not I see and feel you?" she asked with a bit of sadness in her voice.
He didnt answer and she felt alone as tears apeared again. She turned away and started to walk away from the lake, as soon as she made the first step everything went black and she knew she wanst at the forest anymore. She looked behind her back and saw a magnificent castle, with a red sky and and gargoles around it. She gasped as she knew now where she was. "Im at his castle." She said still very suprised. She took another step and it was black again, she looked around her to find that she was in a room.
"I am inside the castle?" she asked more to herself.
"Yes, you are inside of it."
Her whole body reacted to that voice, she knew who it was, she turned around, to meet with him. His silver blue eyes glowed and his red hair made its way down his shoulder. She was so happpy and shocked that she could not make any movement or say any word.
"Is this how you greet, my dear dark spell girl? For being a high dark priestess, you have no manners." He said with a playful smirk on his lips showing his fangs.
She smiled at him and said with the same tone. "It depends on who Im greeting."
"I see." he said as he walked up to her, putting an arm around her waist bringing her close to him.
"I love you, my spell girl" he said as he caressed her long black hair and kissed her softly. She looked at him with sad eyes.
"Please let me stay with you."
He looked back at her red eyes and looked sad. "Im sorry, my love, but we cant be together as long as this war continues."
"Why do you have to be in it? Is not fair. It is keeping us apart."
"I know, my love. But dont worry soon, ill be with you."
She wanted to stay, but she understood. She also had her responsability as a high priestess and he had his of vampire prince.
"I know, my love, Ill wait for you." She said with a small smile on her lips and kissed him. "Thank you, my love. I knew you would understand." He holded her for a few moments and kissed her again. "As much as this hurts me, you must leave now, my queen." She looked at him with sadness in her eyes, but noded her head.
With one last kiss, she returned back to her own world, finding herself alone. She looked up at the sky, as the clouds went away and smiled softly at the sight of the blue sky. "Ill wait my love." She said those words as she reached for neck, where she found a silver neckclace with a small heart. Halft of it was black and the other of the color of blood. She grasped the heart in her hand and smiled again as she heard some words in her head.
'I am yours and you belong to me.'
She knew that the day was close. The day were they would be together for eternity.
