Dear Gaia-ry,

So on the bright side, my daughter is in daycare finally. On the dark side of the Brightside? I'm sick with not-strep like symptoms.

My daughter is a bit older than 2 and is so happy at day care, just enjoying playing with other kids and doing everything she can to stay busy. It's amazing to watch her just go and play without a worry in the world. She cries a little at nap time, but that's sheerly because she doesn't like to take naps anyway. Yesterday she told me,"Mommy, I don't wanna go." clear as day. I nearly laughed my butt off when I heard her. Today, I wonder if she'll be as hesitant to leave and come home as well.

Of course, my body decided it was time to get sick since I finally have some time to myself with my beautiful baby in day care. My tonsils are swollen and even though it looks like strep, the doctor thinks it's not, but gave me antibiotic and steroids to get rid of it anyway. So, hopefully I start feeling better in the next few days! I know I'm going to need to.

I am going to take a nap while I have the chance. It's so nice having a day off while she's at day care and just enjoying everything about life right now. <3
