Now, like many people, I make some of my assumptions about groups of people and/or certain kinds of people, by what is presented to me when I actually meet one.
I will tell you now, I don't like emo people. And you shouldn't be mad at me for that, be mad at every single emo person I've ever met.
Alright, I'm pretty sure emo people have existed since...oh, a while.
And it was okay.
It stopped being okay when they gave themselves a name.
The first time I ever heard the word 'emo', it was to describe a type of music. They had simply shortened the word: emotional.
And that was okay.
It stopped being okay when tweenies and teenies started calling themselves emo for being...retarded.
To me, an emo person is like...
Imagine that a gothic person and a punk person had a baby.
And this baby was:
Emotionally Retarded
Whiny
Bitchy
Pathetic
Thinks They're Special and Unique, When They Very Much Are Not
And the baby assumed the most lame and most un-goth/punk qualities(that pass for real goth/punk qualities amongst the tweenie and the teenie populace), and dressed somewhere between goth and punk. More punky than gothy.
That baby, is emo.
Emo is one of the most asinine clique/group/labels I have ever witnessed.
These people were fine when they went around unnoticed. But, unfortunately, they have taken a title. And in taking that title have created a tremendously inane assemblage of...
...every single pathetic, mindless, fad-chasing, label-clinging, unorginal tweenie and teenie.
You people, are not emo. You are not special or unique. You are damaged in a way you don't even understand.
Run around little emo! Show us your self-inflicted cuts! OOOH, you're so emo!
Run around little emo! Tell us about how stupid your parents are! OOOH, you suffer so!
Run around little emo! Complain about every single part of your life! WOW! You're so deep and awesome!

For those of you out there who do suffer, who do know true pain and hardship, I am not against you.
For those of you cry and wound yourselves, in anguish and real misery, I am not against you.
For those of you who know real adversity and struggle with it most days, if not all, I am not against you.
But for those of you who wave around words like, 'depression' and 'suicide', coming up with whatever 'dark' words you can and polluting the world with your voice that is so deplorable and immature(in the worst sense of the word), I am against you.
You fakers that scream and b***h for the attention, I am against you.
For those of you who have no real comprehension of life, and what life is, who abuse it and don't appreciate it, I am against you.
Those of you who claim you suffer and know true pain and degradation, I am against you.
I don't like emo people. I don't think I ever will.
If I've ever talked to you and you consider yourself an emo person, and I wasn't terse or difficult with you, then I probably won't ever be because you aren't actually an emo person.
You're just a person. Just like everyone else.
