There's this one Crypto-s**t I decided to try and "stake" cuz yip-pee-woo-doo-doo and brown release and all dat. I attempted to obtain blockchain of a different one dat's been attempting to "sync" for a week. That slowed the process even worse, and an even lulzier thing hath been uncovered.
After obtaining said thing, it said in Le Readme: "This will scan which could take 2 - 12 hours depending on hardware."

Since it's been a while since I shut this specific piece of s**t off, I pseudo-timed it. See, while I was downloading said thing b4 opening it, it literally was already over half an hour before ******** actually came on. It never did, so I Task Manager ended it. If this ******** the chain thing again, there'll be rage.
Ain't that a great warning, tho? "This might take 12 hours b4 it comes on. Plz Stand By."
I love how these shitters keep claiming this is supposed to be so "practical" for mainstream adoption like, "Plz wait half a day b4 you can send Totalitarian Payments. Also, be weary of shutting your PC off or a power outage. You'll have to wait longer cuz the ChainBlock was getting larger while you were away."
