Sometimes I wonder...is it more of an insult than a compliment to call a female Hot?
My reason being is calling someone hot usually entails physical appearance only. And being attractive from a physical standpoint is good and all, but what is really being said? My take is: "I like the way you look, and would look good on my arm."
If one were to call someone Beautiful on the other hand... "You look great, and you have more than looks going for you."
Just my preference, I'd want someone whom I thought was Beautiful, not just hot. The world is already too shallow as it is.
On another note, I aslo think the word "Love" is being thrown around too liberally as of late. To some, it's lost all meaning, that, or it's used merely to gain something material.
I'm not one of those individuals. But...if I was, would it make things easier on me? To...learn the ways of the world, as one might say...

It's funny, because I know a friend who takes it as an insult everytime she is called hot. I didn't really get why until she explained it to me, which in turn you explained it to more of a fuller component I suppose.
The word love means nothing unless you add something like "I love you so much". rolleyes It's the same as "I love you". Or even better yet, "I love you!! biggrin biggrin Thank you!"
More merely translate into: "Oh wow! Thank-you so much!"
Just diffrent variations of saying things. It's life, it's society and it's little antics to keep itself preoccupied in fear of being doomed to boredum.
