1. Let’s start by introducing your character! Their name, birthday, ethnicity, and position in Temperance sounds like a good way to begin.
Endy: Hello everyone! *excited waving* My name’s Endellion Kynne. I was born Sunn 23, 7585. Ethnicity… Hmm… Well, my sire has Spanish roots and my dame is 100% Rowanian. So I suppose that makes me part Spanish and part Rowanian! *big grin!* Well, I’m a potential in the Academy.
2. Why did you pick their name? Did it influence their character design at all?
Endy: Weeeeell… *rocks back and forth* My name Endellion literally means ‘Fire Soul’. Mama told me that it wasn’t chosen for its meaning though. They picked it because it fitted well enough with the last name. *scratches cheek* As for my surname Kynne… Well… According to my grandfather it came from the really old English word for ‘Kin’. Soooo… my name put together would mean fire soul kin. That actually sounds awesome! *pumps first in the air*
*chuckles* I picked the name because it was, shall we say, uncommon. That and it did fit the image I had for Endy. So the name definitely influenced the image I wanted Endellion to have. I wanted her to be the enthusiastic and someone you’d find an easy kinship with. Despite her crazies that is. XD
3. Your character got their position for a reason. Why did they choose their occupation (or why were they forced into it?)
Endy: I am currently in my third Potential year in Temperance Academy. *happy bouncing* My sire and my dame are both Guardians. Some would, of course, say that it was only natural that I follow my parents’ footsteps. It’s not simply following their footsteps though. I honestly want to be a guardian and to get to that point, I have to prove my Potential. I know the life of a guardian is dangerous and at times very demanding and I’m not saying this out of pretend understanding. I know I’ve said this before but to make my point, I shall say it again. My parents are guardians. *shows the audience a picture of her parents in full guardian regalia* My parents tried to be there for me as often as their duties would allow them and I know my mom had once passed up a promotion to go up one silver star because that meant she would be away for longer periods. My only hope is that when it’s my turn, I could be as good a guardian as them.
4. That’s cool, I think. Okay, okay! So let’s talk about specialties. As the creator you gave your character some specialties and areas they struggle in. What are these areas and why did you pick them for your character?
Endy: Well that’s easy! My specialties are in Summoning and Gadgets! I mean, Summoning is really a no brainer. My parents are summoners: Mom’s Expert level while Mama’s adept level. You could say I’ve been around summons my whole life. I’ve even been babysat by one of my mom’s summons on several occasions. We, my mothers and me, actually thought specializing in spells would complement my affinity with summoning but then… *goes starry eyed* I discovered DVs!! DVs, GuardEspers and let’s not forget those spiffy gadgets that guardians use! *excited bouncing!* I want them all! I wanna know how they work! Then I’m gonna make improvements and make them all better!! *goes on raving about how marvelous and majestic and awesome Gadgets are*
*facepalms* Well, as you can see… Endy + Gadgets = Pure Happiness. If I could have your attention while Endy is raving… *camera pans to her* Right then. Endy there already gave a brief explanation for her specialization in summoning. Allow me to go on further details on it. Just as Endy shared, she’s been exposed to summons for most of her life. At 15 years of age, she already has three known summons. That’s three times more than Shannon at the same age who was also at the same age discovered as a seer. Her (Shannon’s) affinity to magic would have been a margin higher. While Endy is no Zaira Taliba, I do believe she has the potential to be an exceptional summoner. That is if she applies herself properly to the discipline. We’ll just have to see if she proves me right. smile
As for her second specialty, I almost did choose to have Endy specialize in Spells for the reason that Spells and Summoning are two disciplines that could easily mix with one another. It was easy to imagine her excelling at both but that’s just it. It may become too easy for her. Spells and Summoning could so easily entwine with each other that I feared she would be relaying sole on her spells or her summons to get her out of a fix. To give her a totally different skill set I went with Gadgets. It will give her more options to choose from in going about solving a problem. She’s no savant but I imagine her to be a little mad scientist that’s not afraid of playing with technology. Whether she succeeds or have her designed tech blow up in her face, it’s all exciting and new for her. Results are results and sometimes the bigger the boom, the better. On this note, she’d make a better navigator/weapons specialist than a driver. She can multi-task like she has four pairs of eyes and eight hands but she lacks the focus and level-headedness that, I believe, pilots need to have.
Going back to spells though, I’m keeping that option open. There’s a possibility that in the future she’ll get that as a sub specialty. And this points back to spells and summoning having a close relationship. It really seems natural that she goes and gets that sub-specialty.
Operations. I wouldn’t say Endy’s bad at it but I wouldn’t say she’s good at it either. She’s pretty average when it comes to operations. Sure she knows some basic hand-to-hand combat techniques but that’s it. Handling a weapon? She much rather make them rather than use them. Hacking? Sure but don’t expect her to go that deep into the information network. Stealth… Well, can you imagine this bouncing ball of excitable energy to sit absolutely still and be sneaky? I sure as hell couldn’t! She’s just too all over the place. She’d serve better as a distraction and a very good and very loud distraction. She’d be involved in making multiple booms (in succession, simultaneously, or both). She is fast on her feet though and with a good degree of flexibility. I still think she’s mediocre when it comes to Operations.
5. Everyone should have a spell that’s specific to them! Talk about or make up a spell your character would use as their ‘signature’. Describe this kick-a** spell!
Endy: Uh… Um… I don’t have one… *embarrassed blush*
Hmm… If Endy was going to use a spell… It will probably be an area spell that would cause a good amount of destruction. And most likely, you guessed it, make great big booms.
6. Now, does your character specialize in offensive, defensive, strategic (traps, energy zappers, etc) or healing spells?
Endy: Hmm… That is a good question. I’d have to say offensive with a bit of strategic on the side. While I’m not front line fighter, I do have battle oriented summons. Two out of three and they can cause all sorts of mayhem when let loose in the combat zone. Then while my summons bring about destruction in the field, I can stay a safe distance away hurling bombs and grenades at enemies or I can concentrate on laying traps and the like to keep them from flanking us. I suppose I could also be an emergency healer but I wouldn’t count on it.
7. On that vein, describe your character’s elemental alignment. (And it doesn’t have to be specific like air, earth, fire, etc. There are specific elements like “northern sky” or “ocean waters” or “swamp” if you’re inclined. Be creative. :3).
Endy: *taps chin* Elemental alignment… *makes a superhero pose* I am the Burning Tempest!! *insert mad cackling*
*Ahem!* Allow me to explain. *camera once again pans to Aiden’s corner* Endy is fire and air rolled into one neat package. Well, as neat as fire and air could be. Air is lucid, creative, changing, shifting, unpredictable, curiosity. Air is a roaring hurricane one moment, a playful breeze the next. Air is what allows her to reach unimaginable speeds. She would use it to propel herself forward, dart around enemies unseen but clearly felt. She would wield air like several hundred blades that would fly straight and true. Fire is warmth, passion and courage, fearless, impulsive, and dangerous. Fire is a double-edged sword that can burn you and those around you if you're not careful. Fire gives Endy that single-minded focus that air couldn’t afford her. Once she wants something, she really wants it and will drive herself to any means to attain it regardless of the path she has to take. Fire is what gives Endy’s movements that much needed oomph and cater to her desires of great big booms! With air she’s already fast but add fire to the mix and she’s explosive fast! She can definitely throw the classic fireball at great speeds for maximum fiery impact carnage!
Endy is a complex little spark. Even I don’t know her all that well yet. smile
8. As their graduation present, your OC receives a BRAND NEW dual vehicle and it’s the DV of their dreams. Name it, categorize it (bike, car, tank, flyer, watercraft, aircraft, etc), and describe it.
Endy: *squeals!!* My very own DV! *super excited bouncing!* Well, the basic design is going to be like a bike. Sleek, aerodynamic and built for speed. It’s got some flight capabilities but it’s not a straight out flyer so its maximum altitude is very limited and it consumes quite a bit of power so flight mode is best used for explosive charge and retreat attacks when you’re out of ammo. Under normal mode, it acts more like a hoverbike. Because it ‘hovers’ *crazy giggling* it’s actually great for setting up traps and mines. It will have a specialized carrier and disperser attached to the frame for such things. Because it’s built for speed, it’s only gonna have the basic armaments. None of those tank eviscerating missiles or huge as heck cannons. I call her Lady Rouge!! Or Lady for short!
9. AND the DV is in their favorite colors. What’s their favorite color?
Endy: Red! Well, to be specific Burgundy!
10. Your character is in a jam! They summon their beast! What is the beast’s name? Write a detailed description of them and their personality. (If your character does not have a common summon, explain why that is).
Endy: This is easy! I’d summon Eginhardt! He’s the best for getting me out of tight situations and fast! Well… Egan’s a mechanical horse. To be more precise, he’s a horse combined with a bike. I’d call him a unicorn combined with a bike considering he has that black metal horn on his head but he doesn’t like it. *shrugs* I say he’s combined with a bike because instead of legs, he’s got some wicked, wicked wheels! Hmm… What’s Egan like? Well, he’s very protective. He wouldn’t hesitate charging an enemy if it meant keeping me and my friends safe. He may seem pretty cold and ruthless, he is all metal and machine after all, but he’s actually pretty sweet. *whispers* Don’t tell him I told ya but he can be such a mother hen sometimes. It’s actually pretty cute. *giggles*
11. By pure luck you’ve impressed Freya, who opens up her weapon room to your character. They are allowed to take ONE weapon from this room. What weapon did they choose and why?
Endy: Well, a pair counts as one right? *grin* I’m gonna pick the dual daggers! It’ll get me super close to the enemy which can be very dangerous but wielding the daggers would allow me to be quick on my feet. I’d be dancing around the enemy, pelting his defense with quick and accurate strikes while expertly dodging his blows!
12. Okay, so what is their greatest asset? Speed, strength, accuracy, high pain tolerance, strategy, evasion, reflexes, offensive, and/or defensive?
Endy: Oh! Oh! Speed and I are very, bestfriends! I like fast. I live and breathe it! Of course, I can also dodge well and am told to have good reflexes. XD
Well, you’ve got to be good at those two with the sort of speeds you’re playing with.
Endy: *beams!*
13. Hacking skills are pretty useful but often overlooked. How does your OC feel about hacking?
Endy: Mooooom! It says here you’re on border patrol for the next two weeks!
Eya: Endellion Kynne! You stop that this instant!
Endy: But you said you wanted to know about mom’s next assignment! You’ve been going on about it for the last few days!
Eya: That doesn’t mean you should go and take a peek in the HQ database!
Endy: It’s not like she’s getting sent on a super-secret operation. I don’t have to do much digging to take a peek at the next orders.
Eya: You log out of there young lady or so help me I’m taking away your workshop privileges for a month!
Endy” *horrified gasp!* You wouldn’t!
Eya: I would. *glares*
Endy: *hurriedly logs out and steps away from the computer*
Eya: That’s what I thought. *goes back to the kitchen*
Well, as you’ve read, Endy does have some hacking skills but nothing substantial. She usually uses it to take peeks at her mothers’ order assignments. That way, she’ll know when’s a good time to be home and spend some time with them before they ride off again.
14. Oh no! Your character is having a terrible nightmare! Describe it for us.
Endy: I didn’t graduate!!! I couldn’t become a guardian! *waterfall tears*
Not being able to realize her dream to be a guardian would be nightmare enough for Endy. She really, really wants it to be a guardian.
15. Let’s talk about some relationships. List characters your OC has some kind of relationship with, good or bad. Exclude romantic relations.
Endy: Well, I like to think that I get along well with Nil. We compare notes every now and then. I also like to think that my roommate and I get along. Although sometimes, Neska seems a little too smooth and some of things she describes just flies waaaaaaay over my head. I do think she is nice though. *grins*
*fidgets* Well, Endy’s lack of character relationships would be a bit of my fault there. I haven’t had her interact with that many characters. m(_ _)m I humbly apologize for that.
16. Is your character in a partnership/have a girlfriend? If so, who are they and what is the nature of their relationship?
Nope. None. No one. Endy hasn’t ‘met’ with other characters.
17. If your character wasn’t isn’t dating anyone, who do you think they’d be compatible with/attracted to and why?

18. Alright guys. In the most delicate and tasteful way you possible can, describe your characters sexual style. Are they vanilla sweet? Do whips and chains excite them? *Fans herself* Goodness!
Endy: I…! What…! Ngh…! *hides face in hands* Next question please!!
Don’t look at me. I have no idea either.
19. Does your character have any scars/tattoos/markings? Talk about their significance/meaning and how they got them.
Endy: Not really. No body alterations or anything like that. Skin’s tattoo free too. Although, I am thinking of getting my ears pierced! Well, re pierced was more like it.
20. Every character needs to wear clothes (even if they don’t want to!) why don’t you describe their style and explain why they dress the way they do!
Endy: Shirts and cargo shorts! Comfort over style! Sure, I wear jeans on occasion but I do prefer my cargo shorts. They won’t ever get caught in the wheels of my roller shoes. That and cargo shorts usually have two or three more pockets that I could put things in. T-shirts are comfortable. They’re easy to get out of. Besides, I’m usually buried up to my elbows in grease so designer clothing would just be wasted on me. They won’t survive either when I go hunting in junk yards. When I’m not tinkering or diving in junk, I wear my favorite red and white colored, knee length jacket. Well, coat if you want to be really technical about it.
21. Does your OC have any quirky skills unrelated to Temperance? (Balancing spoons on their nose, juggling, tap dancing, etc)
Endy: Uh… Well… Does eating a lot and not gaining a pound count as a quirky skill? *nervously giggle*
22. It’s a perfect day outside so they decide to take a stroll. What time of year is it and what are the conditions of outdoors?
Endy: Stroll? I do not take strolls. I slow roll. *huffs*
Yes. Yes. Slow roll. We get it. Answer the question please.
Endy: Well, it’s a balmy autumn afternoon. There’s a nice breeze coming from the west. The leaves on the trees are a nice mix of faded green, brown and red and they look oh so very pretty! I’ll probably take pictures and stay out there for a while!
23. If your character could be defined as a flower, what kind of flower would they be and why?
Endy: A flower? That’s… Uh… Um… I’ve never liked flowers but I don’t hate them or anything like that. I just think they’re too delicately beautiful to be by these hands of mine. *smiles*
Oh shush you. Endy would be a fragrant freesia.
Endy: Eh? A freesia?
Yes. You'd make a great one. Freesia's convey a variety of meanings. Among them, two stand out the most. Perseverance and high-spiritedness. Certainly describes that one *jabs thumb in Endy's direction* really well.
24. Is your character even remotely religious? What deity or god/dess do they serve? (Don’t know any? Make one up~)
Endy: Not really. I mean, I haven’t found my way among the religious sort. Sometimes I make offerings in the temple of Simone and of course to Jasmine and Esmeralda. I’ve also paid tribute to Panacea. I usually pray for my mothers’ good health and safe return.
25.. Let’s talk about your family for a bit! Can you give us a list of immediate or close family members and a description of your relationship with them?
Endy: Sure! Well, there’s my mom and my mama. Georgiana and Aurea Kynne. My mom, Gian, she’s a Silver 4 ranked guardian and mama, Eya, is a Silver 3. They make a summoning pair but sometimes they end up having different assignments and don’t get paired up. Mama explained me that guardians have to go on patrol duty too and according to her you don’t need a pair for that and it’s one of the more humdrum assignments. Mom calls it a nice break from out in the field and they feel that it’s a great plus if they end up getting patrol duty in Temperance as it meant they’d be able to sleep in their own beds and I get to spend time with them. Mom and I are actually more alike when it comes to personality so we usually conspire with each other. We play pranks on mama and of course we end up getting punished together too. *wide grin* We get along really, really well.
Gian: *thumbs up with matching grin*
Endy: Mama and I get along well too. Well, most of the time. She’s the taskmaster in the house. She’s the one that gives orders to mom and I and she assigns our chores. She’s very patient with me, and mom because mom can act more like a kid than I sometimes, and I know that she loves me very much. She’s very affectionate, when not barking orders that is. So my while my mom is the big kid, mama is the lady. She actually drinks tea with her pinky out! *giggles* I love my parents very much.
Eya: And we love you too darling. *kisses Endy’s cheek*
Endy: Ehe! *happy chirp*
