New Biography of ZEAL
ZEAL was once just a Bioengineered Creature designed to fit the niche of psychological warfare and brutal combat. Being half-man and half-wolf, ZEAL was considered as a Genetically-Engineered Hybrid Super-Soldier- or GEHSS. The GEHSS were created by the Super-Soldiers of Tomorrow Program that was dubbed the SSOT Program and were funded by the United Sovereign Nations of Earth- AKA: USNE.
The USNE, a powerful organization of multiple rich countries, became the entire ruling of the Earth since the early years of 2010s. Due to humanity become more and more violent, the USNE ordered laws across the entire planet to keep humanity in check from completely wiping each other off the face of the universe. The USNE inaugurated many laws & orders, to executing martial law in certain areas of the world.
But there were many other countries that did not like this and rebelled against them. This was where the story of ZEAL began.
The USNE began searching for a method to exterminate the rebellion and with bioengineering, they found a way to create super-soldiers- the SSOT Program. Most countries used bionics to create their soldiers, enhancing their soldiers to be stronger, faster, and react quicker than a normal human could. These methods though were expensive and were always not guaranteed a success. The United States of America soon deployed GEHSS Units, hybridized beings that were both man and animal. But it had its own flaws as well. Due to the human body, it could reject or accept the hybridization, which would either kill the human test subjects or completely change them. Sadly, the SSOT Program was coming at a failure early on. Little evidence and units were ever made and dubbed "successful" under military regulations.
The few that made it was ZEAL, but his process was very expensive. The Human Being who was transferred to be a Super-Soldier died early on due to his body rejecting the changes and it killed him. The Scientists took his blood and DNA for later reference, because he was the perfect subject as the man known as "Dax Henders" was considered the very best soldier of what humanity could offer.
The USA used Dax Hender's DNA and recreated a Hybrid, dubbing him by the scientist who made him, "ZEAL."
ZEAL was soon to be an aspiring image of what humanity was able to achieve. ZEAL was one of the first and few successful Hybrid Super-Soldiers ever created.
His entire early life was spent training and fighting, preparing for combat and every situation and scenario possible that could come. His years of training went on, soon passing the exams and courses of testing him. He was then deployed as part of the Altered-Ranger Division, a specialized unit of Super-Soldiers specifically like the Special Forces of the past.
ZEAL went on to hundreds of missions and deployments, being sent across the world and in various climates and environments that were unique among the other. Every mission was a do or die situation, a combative experience only known well by the past Special Forces that were once the last line of defense to being second line as the Altered-Rangers took the place of being the last line. ZEAL never failed in any mission- except for one.
The mission that he failed at was the one that would change his life forever.
An abrupt destruction of Shanghai City occurred in China that had literally come out of nowhere. Communications and signals were cut off and Shanghai went black. Being part of the very best, ZEAL and his platoon team went off to find out what happened to Shanghai City. To what they found, was something so shocking and terrifying it would re-change everything that the USNE and ZEAL himself.
ZEAL and his platoon came to Shanghai City to find out it had not been wiped out by any natural disasters- but a foreign one. Extra-terrestrials that claimed themselves as "the Apex" came in order for something- of which they found in the Altered-Rangers. They abducted every one of them, testing and analyzing each individual closely. It soon came to the Apex that ZEAL was the perfect subject- an adequate participant for "cyberization." This cyberization was unlike any other though. Human technology was far out of the league of the Apex's technology, their advancements so far it was not able for human understanding to comprehend on what their advances were. They were out of reach of human comprehension. ZEAL had many problems that are seen to even this day. His entire new anatomical structure proved to be a mystery to even him that carried the unknown powers and abilities that he was able to possess.
ZEAL's new "augmentations" proved to be valuable after the disappearance of the Apex, the Soldier did not know anything of what had happened to the other platoon members he once knew. They were all MIA or had died- that what was believed.
For twenty years, humanity and all of its countries soon united under the ruling power of the USNE, coming together in order to hopefully stop the means of extraterrestrial beings from coming back from Earth. In two decades, another race of extraterrestrials would visit Earth, although their intentions were far more volatile compared to that of the Apex's. These were the war-fairing Recelians, a pre-dominant race that was organic just like humans. Just as humanity was building its own powerful means of becoming a Type 1 Civilization, the Recelians struck. Their entire hopes of finding remnants of the Apex's technology who they had placed a great addendum to their own scientific advancements.
This war lasted for a few years, which was kept secret as it only held itself within the confines of a remote region of the Earth.
When the Recelians retreated, it was put to the few left to continue the fight and take it to the enemy's homeland. ZEAL was sent off to Operation SHOOTING STAR.
This covert Operation was inaugurated to exterminate the Recelians. Many Altered-Rangers were sent to fight the remaining and fleeing Recelian forces, wiping them off the existence of this realm.
Soon though, the Altered-Rangers came back, but there were only few who made it back. Either fate, luck, or the scientific value of his Apex technology etched into his body was questionable, there were no accounts or documentations of the battles and no files of what the Recelian home planet was like. But after ZEAL had come back, a raging stew of hate and wrath boiled itself inside him.
ZEAL soon knew what the motives of the USNE was, it was control and domination; their wants and needs came before those who were not as fortunate- the citizens who lived each and every day of their lives to make the fat rich bastards happy. ZEAL knew this all too well, he found out how the human monopoly worked...and he didn't like it. ZEAL questioned to those who were in charge of the USNE, who by now had the complete control of the world. For them, he was nothing but a pawn, someone who could just be disposed of and replaced. But ZEAL did not see it this way.
Due to his rebellious acts and speeches that was bringing a revolt to the Altered-Rangers and others, the USNE declared that ZEAL was to be "decommissioned" immediately. ZEAL survived the "decommission trial," but unfortunately none of his comrades were able to survive. He fought back against them with everything he had, a battle that would last for nearly over thirty years of conflict...
