A Poem for Her
a wind came through
this windless land
like a new moment in flames
it brought new life
it sang a song of happy thoughts
and drove away the storm
that forced all away
like a cleansing breath
soon a rebirth of thoughts
a wish for more has come
delivering heartfelt instances
of kinder days lost in time
it took shape, an angel
and proved to me of miracles
it grew features so beautiful
showing a flawless world
it looked right through me
with its gaze so comforting
it taught me how lucky
I was to have met it here
a smile soon held me
its loving shape so tempting
I felt its desire and will
a creature like me it was
the words came forward
and calmed the seas
it brought peace and love
deep with in its depths
she was a goddess or an angel
she was what I have sought after
she was what I desired for a future
she was... you.
