So you mean to tell me,
That I broke a spirit that night,
So you’re trying to tell me,
That that star no longer shines bright,

Could I even consider myself a bad person,
Not knowing what’s going on,
Not knowing what happened,
Can I be considered part of the damned,

Am I truly a villain,
I didn’t know this would happen,
“Sorry”`, I know, will never be enough,
After going through all this stuff,

No matter how many tears cleanse this ocean,
I will always be seen as this villain,
And I plead never again, never again,
We all just need some friend,

So I close my eyes, will the tears away,
Because I know that there will never be a day,
Where my soul will be saved,
So I walk on the coals, trying to be brave,

Sacrifice? It’s not an organized program,
It matters not what you think I am,
Strip me of all that I used to be,
Because tomorrow I’ll be a different me.
