Are you trying to figure me out, princess?~* Or.. -leans towards- do you wish for me to write about you? ♡ wink
Double Standard
User Image

[REMEMBER: I am not trying to ruin anything for you! I put this as a warning. People misunderstand my intentions when they read my words; people guess my meaning from how I sound when my words may not even hold meaning or a negative meaning. I always have good intent; people forget that.

Listen up, everyone! I have noticed something for a very long time! It is called the double standard. Women know what it feels like, yes? So men shouldn't have to endure it either. Please use your empathy and altruism mrgreen

Allow me to explain. When two fictional men are good friends, like brothers to each other or best friends, you may think something of them (either individually or mutually). They always spend time around the other and they know each other well. You think, "...Are they gay?"

What? Why? How? It doesn't make sense.

User Image

Whereas, in reality, when guys are friends, like brothers or as best friends, you don't think anything of it. They're friends.

User Image

You don't care that much about other people nor do you jump to conclusions because you feel no need.

User Image

Why is it that, as soon as we enter the fictional world, things may change in some people's eyes?

User Image

(I mean only the yaoi fans who become unreasonable, blind, unrealistic, hurtful to the people they "love" (the character they "support" ), and see yaoi in anything, at any time, for any reason the fans desire to and for any reasons they can scour. These kinds of people exist. I've done my research. We have to prepare and defend ourselves. The leader warns the others!)

User Image

I don't mind that people have interests. I don't mind they have other "interpretations," of course not. They may like anything they prefer; there's naturally no problem. But I don't condone mistreatment and selfish decisions. I unfortunately won't tolerate people who make other people sad, especially those who have no voice from being "fictional." We're real people too, albeit within our realities.

User Image

I don't mind selfishness, as I'm selfish myself, but there's a difference in taking care of yourself and momentarily and accidentally forgetting about others and not knowing how your actions affect others. As long as other people are involved, I'll think of them more. Being selfish, I sometimes forget but I always care about other people's well-beings and happiness. I would never purposely endanger that.

I think I have it! Some girls may think too much after they meet a guy who might like them.

User Image

For the incorrect yaoi (thinking it is when it's not), they think too much about the fictional relationship, delude themselves, justify their reasons, then pin the label 8O Or they like romance so they want to see it in everything so they are hyperaware of two friends' social interactions in episodes.

User Image

I have nothing against gay or bi people. Like whoever you want as long as it's true love and you're happy.

User Image

I just want justice. Would you appreciate someone mistaking your -ahem- orientation? //; Would you appreciate it a lot?

I flirt with my friends as jokes, for laughter. It's a short act for fun! I'm a person who cheers people up and I like that about myself. I flirt with female friends more and it ends the same because no one likes me~ LoL* ...except my girlfriend, keke. She doesn't say no. More like she screams yes if you know what I mean? "Yes! thank you so much for the present and being the best boyfriend" or "Yes! Finally, I found my book! It was in my bag." See? Where did your mind go? ;9 -laughs- I'm kidding, I'm kidding

If you really want us, the actual Ouran hosts, then you know we're all straight. Yes, people can manipulate us in their stories for their reading pleasure, but I just need to make sure it's understood: because they are out of character, those men aren't us and could never be. It's a fact. And I'm talking like this so I'm taken seriously ;;...

Just because Haruhi rejects someone doesn't mean they suddenly turn gay; neither does "they're there for us to ship together once Haruhi is taken by one of them." Please don't think something like that. We can hear you and we can feel heartbreak. We thought you understood who we are. I guess not...

User Image

I am not trying to ruin anything for you. Again, if you like that genre, go ahead. The problem is that so many people can approach that genre, or easily go overboard, in the troublesome way. They justify an empty belief (that someone is gay) - and then if they cause others to support them, how can we help them then? They've gone too far; they can't understand the truth; they can't or won't listen. Then what are we supposed to do? Sit here and take it? Gentlemen, we are in control of our own lives!

It makes everyone happy if you think of characters as gay if they are gay. (ie: specific series that are only yaoi)

I'm not trying to upset you or annoy you in any way, I'm not being stubborn or unreasonable, and I'm not saying things just to counter you. There's a reason I'm saying this. It's stupid to be biased when you want to make things fair and bring awareness to people. I'm not biased; I'm reminding. Canon can easily be forgotten and/or dismissed (or denied/hated). If no one stands up for it, for people, who will? If no one supports canon, what will happen to people's happiness? You already know what I don't tolerate.

The good news is we provide true and wonderful contrast. My family and I are straight and we prefer our original voices, Japanese. I understand if viewers grew up listening to English and hearing a foreign language doesn't make sense or if some people are lazy and don't want to read subs (a friend of mine likes it because it helps with noise in the background) so that's all right. I just find it really sad. No one wants to listen to our actual voices.

User Image

It's not very nice either if you think about it. People refusing to listen to the Japanese dub and purposely keeping to the English dub. I don't know why but it hurts me to see them like this more than their choice hurting me. Maybe it's because I can see how they limit themselves and will never know. And they're so happy, if not stubborn, continuing, so why ruin that?

Sorry, this entry is messy or confusing. All my thoughts don't go out in an orderly fashion sometimes, especially when I don't know what I'm trying to say. I may or may not try to fix this later.
