He felt cold, so very cold. The world was a distorted image seen from upside down. The mound of flesh tried to move, but his body refused to obey a sickening wet sound was the only reply his frame gave him. Where was this? What was he? Who had he been? For some reason the flesh couldn't remember. When he tried to recall what lead to this point, a wave of great sorrow washed over him causing his malformed lungs to weeze as the body attempted a wail. One arm hung down over his vision twisted in a way no human's limb should ever be twisted, the fingers bent upwards toward the ceiling. The rain continued to drum on the roof as the strange being shifted slowly trying to get what he was loosely calling his body for the moment to move. It was agony, misaligned nerves twitching, and veins threatening to pop with each tiny centimeter of progress. The thing didn't know why he needed to move, but a strange instinct was telling him he had too...
This was ridiculous. Why did he, Envy have to go check out some stupid warehouse for what was obviously an alchemist's screw up? He was /not/ going to pay nurse maid. He pushed aside the great metal doors and peered inside warily. Last time, he'd gotten his head taken off for being careless. The beast hated pain, thus it was a lesson learned. Let's not mention what happened to the one that took his head off. It was messy. The only thing that greeted the sin however, was a very disfigured mass of flesh, to be honest it was a small compared to most he'd seen. It mewled weakily, clouded eyes focusing on him, and to his puzzlement tried to back away. What the hell? Had it been someone he'd encountered before? Curious now, the brackish haired warrior stepped into warehouse and advanced on the thing. It squealed in true fear and did its best to inch back like an inch worm. He made a disgusted face at the wet slopping noises that resulted from this and sighed heavily. Well this is going to be fun. Oh sure, about as enjoyable as stabbing himself in the eye.
The lightly clad man crouched down and reached for the belt pouch he'd brought with him. With care, the pale homunculus drew out a hand full of red stones and held them out to the thing. "Hey, you're not going to live long if you don't eat. Its after midnight, you'd better hurry." It drew back a little further at the sight of the red stones that mewl becoming a fit of coughing. Slowly however, the inborne hunger won it over and cautiously it crawled forward. It was disgusting, hideous, and so badly malformed the ancient beast couldn't tell who it had been. No matter, he'd find out once it gained a human form. The thing took the stones from his hand and crawled a inch, or two away munching them down swiftly. Why didn't this thing trust him? Most of the homunculus at this stage blindly trusted the one that fed them. But this one didn't. Who had it been in its life? The array on the floor of this forgotten place was very intricate and advanced yet it gave no clues. There was no clothing, nothing, zip, no nadda. It frustrated the hell out of the sin.
He sighed softly as the thing suddenly inched towards him and pressed against his side. Well this was new. He smirked quietly and took out more stones watching the thing eat from his hand this time. "Well at least you learned quickly."
