gaia is a form of social media. social media is supposed to be used to meet new people and keep in contact with them easier. but that isn't the case with this site. even just counting recently, i can count on one hand the amount of people that actually keep in contact with me on a regular basis. i think a lot of that has to do with the site itself. it needs a major update. something that sets it apart from facebook or any other social media site out there and rasies the bar a bit more. like reducing inbox wait times, allowing people who are over 18 to interact with each other more, allowing more accessabilty to areas that dont glitch out and cant be hacked by a 13 year old that is hell bent on disrupting your time with your friends and a required link to another site that can help you keep in touch with your friends if this site gets too boring to them so that you dont lose friends you have built years of relationships with. so tell me what you think. should gaia update their site to keep up with the rest of the world? or should we all settle for what they are giving us so far?
