Dear Readers,
I don't know if I should keep this up, with the journal writing and all. I guess it seems somewhat useless somehow. Anyway, while I think about it, I'll write anyway.
Let's see...I think I'll begin with the longest event of the day: listening to Chinese songs all day long. If you might think that I think that it's a pain in the head because you couldn't understand a single word, well, you thought wrong.
I've been having a Chinese language tutor who comes two days a week, and I've been keeping that up for over four months now.My teacher even suggested me to take up writing after I finish my exercise book. In my head, I was like, "OMG, I'm going to learn to write Chinese characters! NOOOOooo...." but instead, I had an optimistic tone about it. Oh well, I guess I'll have to put up with that next week.
Anyway, today's wind was uber-powered that trying to cycle to a lake about 25 kilometers (16 miles) away with the wind hitting straight against you in February is just ********. With that aside though, we ended up eating down at the local mall. I guess the plan didn't work out so well, but at least I gut some good eats.
I don't know what else to write about other than learning two songs today. I'm an avid piano enthusiast, so I learn some chord-based songs on my own and play them. It gave me a great sense of accomplishment knowing that I learned a couple of Adele songs (If you hadn't noticed, she has several songs that have a piano in the background.). The songs were Turning Tables and Rolling in the Deep. Well, I'm not as much of an Adele fan as I used to be, but the songs still sound good to my ears.
Well, I guess that's it for today. I don't know what else to write from here on out, so just...have a great weekend.
