Molten Angel
As I lay awake I see you in my eyes, but you are not there. Only in my dreams you are who I knew, but now no longer my darling. You have drifted away into the filth of those whose souls are worthless, but to me you are worth more than their time. You don’t belong where you have gone, your heart is softly sleeping. I’ll never feel your love again and always hear your weeping. You have lost yourself and thrown it all away. The thick white smoke entangling who you used to be, my dove. The numbness and the shadow that surrounds you is ever staining to my sanity. If only there was a way, I would give anything to see you one last time. The you that I knew, who I loved more than the breath that sustains my life.
