4E201 First Seed 24, Loredas

Dragon outside. Inside cave waiting for it to pass. Big and black with red eyes. Hope it does not smell supplies. Roars echo in the cave. Will write more later if I survive.

Okay, so we got to the Imperial camp in one piece. Oh, I mean "we" as in me and my companion, a warrior whom I met at The Winking Skreever in Solitude, he promised to accompany me to the camp in exchange for payment. But boy, did I ever get my money's worth!

The black dragon I mentioned before, it went up to this old dragon grave and suddenly it was glowing and burning and... then a dragon came out! It was a skeleton, but then... oh dear, it was all so frightening. Then my companion, he charges in! Charges right at the dragon that was just revived! I screamed for him to come back, but he kept going, just dove onto the beasts' head, took his swords and plunged them into its skull. But that wasn't even the amazing part.

Then, as the creature died, its body bust into flames, and... and the man absorbed the flame! It was all so incredible, he looked... stronger in some way. After thinking about it, I've come to the conclusion as to who that man is. He must be the Dragonborn, no question. How fortunate for me to have had the legendary hero as my bodyguard! He's already left the camp, I gave him the payment. The legion officer is allowing me to stay the night before I head off tomorrow in return to Solitude. But... I'll never forget that moment, when he wiped his sword of the dragon's blood and I looked into the eyes of a champion.

I'll never forget.
