4E201 First Seed 20, Tirdas

I'm sorry journal, I've been neglecting you, haven't I? Well, since I last wrote, I arrived at Solitude safely and have been bunking at the Bards College for the last week or so. I'm so glad the headmaster doesn't mind, we always were close. But it seems the College has hit some rough times since I last visited, and I've been doing all I can to help. It seems I need to try and convince the Jarl to continue to fund the College. Apparently the arts aren't top priority in war time, and the money is being sent to the Imperial troops instead. Now, I'm all for aiding the war effort, but there must be some way to keep the College running and relay support to the battlefront at the same time. Oh dear, this will take quite a lot of convincing...
