HER PLACE
He lays in silence
heart beating with her own
Against her in the blankets
only her face was shown
He feels her tense
and struggle yet
With nightmare dreams
by mourn she would forget
What is her secret
what is it showing
What is she doing
and where is it going
Then soft and quick
her eyes open wide
He reaches for her hand
tangled in blankets at their side
He grabs her hand
the other on her cheek
He looked into green eyes
not one of them could speak
She touched the hand placed on her face
Then snuggled closer into his chest
With him this was her place
With him love takes over all distress heart
