Story
Earth. In a distant future there's a city in the sky named Heaven by the men and women that built it. In days long gone this sky high piece of paradise was the jewel of a nation, the first of many of it's kind. Other countries made their versions of Heaven and it was just a matter of time until the skies of Earth were plagued by the pollution of this cities, those bellow cursed to be haunted by their shadow as they grew in number.

Meanwhile in the sky cities themselves time and the hand of man took it's toll. Some would fare better than others but Heaven was lost. A place for crime to thrive on either by the hands of criminal organizations or it's own corrupt government, both controlled by E.A.G.L.E. a ruthless military agency and now the true ruler. It became so powerful that it's influence soon spread across the other sky cities, now most of them under it's control and what's left of the Earth bellow has no option but to bend the knee.

Chapter Twenty Four

"Please. I didn't do it." Day said again.
Meyer didn't look happy.
"I'm not going to lie to you an say we can do this all day.
We can't.
If you don't give us something soon, the Inquiry and Interrogation Division will take up were we left."
Day's hands starting to shake and she was about to start crying.
Margaret had her harshest gaze fixed on the young woman, which wore her down quickly.
There was something about her tired, ragged appearance that made her look almost feral to her whole self and Margaret knew how to make the best use of it. Meyer had been asking the questions while Margaret just stared, making herself felt.
"I don't." She gagged, looking down at her lap, squeezing her hands together.
"Please."
"Look." Meyer sat next to Day, held her chin in a way that could pass for gentle to make her look him in the eyes.
"Someone set up that explosion. You were caught running away, just seconds before everything went to hell.
Tell us what you saw."
Day hugged herself and shuddered as if the memory was to terrible.
"My sister."
Meyer raised an eyebrow. "Who?"
"The one with blue hair." Margaret said to Day. "Your twin."
Day didn't even try talking, just nodded meekly in agreement.
"She gave you those bruises?" Meyer asked.
Day just bit her lower lip and squirmed a bit more in discomfort.
"We're running out of time" Margaret snapped at her, "tell us how she did it."
"I don't know." Day mumbled in a whisper after a long and awkward pause.
Meyer let out a deep sigh.
"Let me try refreshing your memory..." He made Day look him in the eyes again though not as gently as before.
"You were singing, because that's what you do right?
You leave the stage and then.."
Day tried looking away again but this time Meyer's hand held her from doing so.
"No time from traumas, just spill it -LOOK AT ME - tell me what happened!"
Day sobbed and then tears ran down her cheeks.
"I don't... She wasn't..." she sobbed some more. "My sister. She was different."
"What do you mean?" Meyer asked.
"We were at the dressing room and she attacked me.
I don't know why, she just attacked me.
Please..."
Meyer unhanded her.
"I don't buy it. You're making it up."
Day started sobbing franticly then, hiding her face in her hands.
"Did your sister tried to kill you?" Margaret asked.
"No." Day whimpered. "Yes. I don't know."
Meyer was ready to do something, possibly hit the young woman but Margaret gestured him to stop. He stood up and walked away a bit, making some room for the girl to calm down.
"Tell us what happened after she attacked you.
How did you escape?"
Day sobbed some more. This was starting to grind what little patience Margaret had left.
"I was, combing my hair. Seated in my dressing room.
Then I looked in the mirror. She was holding a chair."
Day paused, sniffled then kept telling her story.
"She almost hit me. I screamed for help.
There was broken glass everywhere and fighting.
She punched me and then I just remember running."
She choked another sob.
"I think I killed my sister."
The door to the interrogation room was opened of a sudden.
A man Margaret didn't recognize walked in followed by two goons, big and dressed has male nurses.
"I'm Doctor Lothar from the I. I. D.
We have been instructed to retrieve a suspect for further questioning in one of our facilities.
"NO!" Day shouted.
She started flailing and screaming has the men started dragging her away.
"Help me! Please, help me!!!"
All Margaret did was ask one question.
"Did Doctor Sunday asked you to give me some message?"
Lothar looked at her, his face a mask.
The Inquiry and Interrogation Division was only used when a superior patent required their services. Margaret wouldn't have done it and Oliver should still be at the hospital with Roxxy.
"Yes." Doctor Lothar replied.
"He said "work faster.""
