Whenever I get "bored" (I never really get bored since my mind is going at 100 meters per second), I have three solutions: 1. read a book if there is one nearby 2. imagine what one of my characters would do in general 3. (and the most popular) pull out my notebook and start writing. No matter where I go (unless it is to a friend's house or to a gym) I always bring a pen, my notebook, and possibly a book. Inspiration can be anywhere and is everywhere in this large wide world.
The way it is set up is almost snit-people proof. No, there isn't a lock (I really hate those things on something I use all the time). The whole book is written in cursive. So it narrows down the number of people who could read it. The other part is how the thing is structured. There are no headings or hints about a change in thought besides a gap between really long paragraphs. And even that isn't enough to tell someone what the thought will be. Only I can read the notebook and actually understand exactly what each paragraph is talking about. It reflects how my mind works, almost. Nothing can really describe how a person's mind works completely. That is the beauty of the mind or at least one of them. wink
