Here is where I'll put all the wonderful things that I can't fit into my quest thread. That includes avi art, previous winners of contests, and any other stuff that I might need to put here.

A Love Lost by Shanra the Dragon Bard

“Tell me you love me,” she said through her tears.
He sat there and stared at her face, full of fear.
He knew his next words would not ease her despair,
As he drew in a breath and began to prepare.

“My love for you dearest, is not what you think.
For I’m already spoken for,” he said with a wink.
Her shock showed quite plainly upon her sweet face.
Her heart, it did beat as though running a race.

“Just who is it you’re in love with?” she asked.
Whoever it was would soon die by the axe.
No floozy or bimbo would steal him from her.
The life of said woman would end, that’s for sure.

“You know her not dear, for she comes from afar.
We were promised during the fall of a star.
Our families did pledge that one day we would wed,
And wed we shall be ‘til the day we are dead.”

He watched as the tears quickly flowed down her face.
And wished he had never been brought to this place.
But fate had determined he needed to be,
Shipwrecked and tossed ashore from the sea.

She found him unconscious, washed up on the shore.
And felt her love grow, but now nevermore
Would she have him beside her, to hold and to love
For now he was leaving to sail to his dove.

She rose from her chair and did bid him goodbye.
And swore to herself, for his love she would die.
Then out to the cliffs she did hurry her step
And into the sea will she ever be kept.

True deaths kiss?

Grew up solemn and sound
Hoping true love would come around

Alas I didn’t have to beckon long
‘Till one man began to sing a song
A song of lust like the shimmering sea
However, he said we just weren’t meant to be

Mad, enraged, and depressed I became
Searching forever, now he be my bane
“Ill fix his mood” I always thought-think
And dropped a little poison
Into his noon-tide drink

As he drank with gusto, I simply laughed
Of course, needn’t I know, that I was the trapped
Changing, his being, he slowly grew
Into the darkened beast I never knew

And as he grew into the beast of black
He bellowed out and groped my back
Only to slowly kiss my small lips
And dig his spiny nails to my hips

And only to know what I didn’t know
That death was upon me, he put on a show
To send my own poison down into my being
To only realize, death is intriguing…
But now I only ask, was it true deaths kiss at last?
