Welcome to Barton Town #6

Lying on the ground, in pain, all I can hear is a ringing in my ears. After a few moments I come to my sense, and I sit up to look around me. Its an open green feild with several people walking about, only they are all dressed so...strangely. I stand up and look around, stunned. Where am I, how did I get here, and what was that thing that dragged me out of the seretei? While gazing about my eyes rested on a lawn flamingo, wait...did it just move? It turns and faces me. OMG IT DID!! Taken aback by the fact it can move on its own, I was unprepared when it charged me. It knocked me to the ground quite quickly and started pecking and kicking me. I reached for zelinger(my zanpakuoto if i hadnt told u its name yet) but the flamingo would not back down and zelinger couldnt cut it.
"Someone help me!" I screamed. Just then a random guy came up to us. He stood over me and held out his hand. On each of his fingers he wore a ring. One of them began to glow and a sword came out of nowhere and slashed the flamingo off of me. Before i could thank him he turned away and left.
"Dam noobs." he said. I lay there, stunned. What the hell had just happened? And, why did he call me a noob? I got up on my feet and looked around, all over these people were attacking objects with rings....I had never seen anything like it. I decided to go to the nearest town, the banner said "barton town." The town guards, or so i guessed their matching armor, all seemed so nice to me. They all greeted me with a smile and a wave, and some of the citizens were nice too. It didnt take me long to find myself infront of a little shop, "Barton Boutiques." As soon as I walked in, a man greeted me with a warm smile.
"Hello, welcome. My name is Ian, how can I help u?"
"Um, yes I hate to sound stupid but.....where am I?" He seems confused.
"Well, ur in Barton Town. The finest town in Gaia I must say, but Im being a little biased, but what else can you expect from one of its citizens?"
"Gaia huh? Interesting...." He stares at me a moment.
"Ur not from around here are u?"
"U could say that."
"So where are u from then?" He seems very interested now. I told him about how I got to Gaia, and about where I came from, the whole while he stares at me not speaking or moving....just staring. "Amazing, I've never heard anything like that in my life!"
"Now I just have to find a way to get home."
"Well whats ur hurry, why not stay awhile? I mean, in the mean time while u look for a way home, y not experience all Gaia has to offer?"
"But I have no place to stay, no where to go. And I have no money."
"Well I cant do much for u about money, but as for a place to stay, why not with me? Of course its going to be just as friends I hope u agree with that." I laughed.
"Dont worry, I can assure u that wont ever cross my mind. I have someone waiting for me back home." He claps his hands together.
"Great so its settled then, you can have the room above the shop. O, by the way u dont mind cats do u?"
"Of course not, I love cats!" A grey cat jumps up on the counter. Is that cat wearing pants?
"Well I'm glad to hear it!" he purrs.
"OMG, A TALKING CAT THAT WEARS PANTS?!?!"
"Thats not a problem is it?" Ian seems worried. I grabbed the cat and squeezed him tightly.
"OMG HE'S THE CUTEST THING EVER!!!" The cat hisses and gasps for air.
"Rika, loosen up will u? Rufus cant breathe!" I loosen my grip.
"O my gosh, Im so sorry Rufus!"
"Not as sorry as I am." Rufus complains. Ian helped me get settled in for the night, as I lay in bed I was thinking of every possible way to find out how to get back home. The first thing was to try and open the dongai, and as soon as morning comes thats just what Im going to do. I spoke out loud to myself, "Sorry Ian, but I need to get back. But then again...once I do get back, they're gonna question me. Whats gonna happen after that?" I looked out the window. "I'll get to that when the times comes, but for now I just need to get back." I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
